Nice smoke, yet won't break the bank.

I've smoked the Churchill and the torpedo. Personally like the torpedo better but a good smoke none the less. Spicy with tastes of leather, pepper, and some I haven't quite picked out yet. Smooth cigar but not a creamy delight, more on the bold and spicy side. Might pair well with something sweet.

Starting with the cut, the wrapper cracked and started to come apart. I looked past that and went on to light it, which it lit like a dream. Not quite an even burn but after a few short puffs it worked itself out. The taste however was great, a little more peppery and spicy than I care for but I could taste the underlying notes of leather and a deep nutty aftertaste. I enjoyed this cigar thoroughly although I will deviating to a smaller size to keep in the humidor.

I recently bought two 5-packs of these. May have been through a daily or weekly dutch auction. Either way, I was happy to get Some Rocky Patels for a good price. I've smoked 4 of the sticks, two from each pack. All have cored for at least an inch, burn unevenly, and the taste was dry and sour. Not happy with the purchase. Will use caution when considering Rocky Patel cigars in the future
