Romeo y Julieta Reserve

Robusto · 5 × 54 RHRRO_1

The Romeo y Julieta Reserve Robusto is a high-octane version of the popular Dominican brand made to please those who prefer a fuller bodied flavor. The wrapper is a dark and oily Nicaraguan leaf that covers a blend of Nicaraguan and Honduran filler tobaccos fortified with a Nicaraguan binder. The flavor of this hefty Robusto is rich, robust, and delightfully pleasing to the palate. It is conveniently sold in single cigars.

Perfect cigar everytime

RogueSpider on 09/05/15

This is one cigar that I always have on hand. So smooth, consistent and good. Creamy and delicious. You absolutely cannot go wrong with these. I have been smoking these a while now and have never come across a bad one. Definitely priced right.

Best stick for the value, hands down

Alex on 07/29/15

Actually just bought a 5-pack of these puppies from JR Cigars! Came in today. Beautiful wrapper and construction, flawless draw, and the a flavor that leaves me coming back for more every time!! It's my absolute favorite sub-$10 stick. Hay, chocolate, and honey coat the pallete and a slight complexity leaves you craving the next puff without confusing the senses.

The Romeo y Julieta Reserve Robusto is s decent little cigar with all the makings of a winner. It is strong and subtle with hints of apricot.

WoWza

Bu11et5ponge on 09/12/15

I purchased a 5 pack on a whim. Usually, I'll stop by a local shop and buy a single stick so, if I don't like it, I'm not stuck with a bunch. For whatever reason I committed to 5 and wish I'd bought the box.

Very nice smooth, easy draw. Full flavor. Had to relight a few times though I smoked these on a windy beach. I would definitely reccomend

A ture must have

Bullylv on 06/25/15

One of my favorite smokes, especially the second half of the cigar, great daily smoke, at a price you can afford to smoke it daily. I wish I could give 6 stars. Starts off mild, and thenjoy once the oils start to build up, 1/4 of the way in, it's a totally different cigar . Taste so delightful I don't like to put it down.

A Fan For Life

Kendrick K. Brown on 07/12/16

Ok how can one go wrong with this powerful full bodied beauty. I am glad that I added these to my collection. No other cigar has such a consistent and even burn. then you add the full spicy flavor you've got yourself one hell of a smoke. Great job on the production of these perfect Robusto's Romeo y Julieta, keep up the good work.

Nice & Smooth for a Newbie!

Iceblue1914 on 10/09/15

This is a great cigar for a new smoker. I'm a mild-to-medium smoker but I find this smoke VERY smooth and even flavorful (for some reason, I detect notes of hazelnut). This will ALWAYS be in my humi.

Not thrilled at all...

Jim W on 12/27/15

I must have gotten a bad one because my experience was totally different than most of the reviewers. I found it a bit harsh, not at all smooth and a rather unpleasant finish.

Decent flavors, but 0 for 2 on construction

pkbowen on 12/21/15

My GF and I both smoked one of these. The flavors were nice, maybe even "very good," but the construction was abysmal. A tight draw, unmanageable wrapper burn/tunneling, and going out were all issues we observed. (I keep sticks at 65% RH, and they had plenty of rest...dryboxing would have been unlikely to help. )

Usual Romey

Bjewell on 10/08/16

No tooth and slight vein. Flavors of spice and hay. Even burn. Draw a slight tight but did loosen up in the mid.

Hot, Hard Draw and Uneven Smoke

cracigar on 07/19/16

Very tightly rolled some of them are so tight you can barley get any draw and it takes a lot of work to keep an even burn. As far as taste it's predominantly earthy and leathery taste with not much else too it and it likes to get hot quickly even when spacing out puffs. I've let them sit in my humidor for over week trying to smooth them out and there hasn't been much of a change to the way it smokes. I'll hopefully be getting a larger humidor soon and I'll end up throwing these in the bottom and let them sit for a year or so in hopes for a better smoke. The only reason why I bought a box was because of a promo JR was running that I couldn't pass up. I would definitely buy the Reserva Real Robusto over these any day, the extra fifty dollars for them is one hundred percent worth it! I wish the promo they were running on these were for the Reserva Reals.

Quality smoke

cracigar on 07/14/16

Great smoke for the price, smooth draw with hints of vanilla. One of the bests for its price range.

I like the Reserve better than the regular R&j, seems to have a more smooth draw and taste
