Good Value Smoke but there are Better

LifeOnAString on 04/10/15

Bought three bundles under $30 looking for a good mild daily smoke. This one lost to the (CLA4). If you are looking for a long smoke, I would spend the extra $15 and go for the (FLPR) - best deal in $/min and a great flavor.

Bargain price but better quality !

Windy on 09/15/15

Having gone through more than a few bundles I can only say that there is no better value at JRs for me. I do buy other brands but for their bargain price they are well made, taste good, burn with reasonable consistency. No Monte Cristo and not perfect but for an every day smoke I'll take them. I do wish they came in a maduro, which they apparently intended to produce at one time but never went any farther than being listed in print.

Chopped floor sweepings from Lews Factory

Ususos on 06/19/15

Arrives "wet" fresh from factory. Probably aged 5 minutes. Recently found chopped nylon thread in one. Having said that been smoking them for nine years. Car, boat, yard cigar but with good draw, 5/10 flavor, mild. Habituating. Don't know how they age, bundle gone in a week or so. Price has been going up. Please do not purchase these as the English Masters will invoke supply demand rationale and jack them even more, further depleting my fortune.

SMOKE WELL, TASTE BAD

WAH on 11/21/15

This would be a great, cheap cigar but the tobacco has a rank, unpleasant taste. Next time, I will upgrade to a more costly and hopefully more flavorful cigar. I guess it serves me right for being a cheapskate!

Good smoke

Terry on 04/13/16

These are a bit mild but pretty consistent. Haven't found any nearly as good for the price. Haven't aged but had a few make it for 6-8 months or so then had more flavor- mostly vanila. Mostly just tobacco when new.

A decent smoke at a good price.

Patio Pete in Arizona on 02/14/16

These are my everyday cigars, although I don't smoke one every day. They're just right with a cold beer and a baseball game on the radio. Not for the cigar snobs, that's for sure, but almost everybody I've shared them with likes them. Tamp the cut end to take care of the short pieces of tobacco that may be loose, it's a mixed filler. Can't be beat for the price.!

really bad

JRGuy on 08/22/15

Yuck. Horrible little cigar. Was expecting MUCH more. This thing made me sick. Very disappointing because of all the good reviews. Esumatra wrapper is usually my favorite, but not in these things. There are far better in this price range.
