As Good As They Get !!!

Phantomphlyer on 06/17/15

As with all of the JR vintage cigars that I've tried, the Ramon Allones is exceptional. Vintage cigars seem to me to have an extra edge, a deeper, more mature flavor. As for the burn, always exceptional.

Enjoyable, small, full taste.

Fidelseyeglasses on 08/19/15

Definitely 'full' taste, a bit dry but after left in my humidor (large glass jar with a small piece of moist sponge in the top) no dryness issue. These are somewhat small in size, but make for a very pleasant smoke without having a big cigar in hand. I enjoyed them, but would not purchase again though.

Not bad

Whiskey on 08/17/15

A fairly good smoke if you don't have time for a lengthy smoke. Not quite as good as a bigger ring size but not bad either.

A Consistently Good Cigar

PhantomPhlyer on 08/16/15

This is only the latest of many purchases of the Ramon Allones corona that I've made over the past couple of years and this cigar has yet to disappoint. It has been consistent, always burns well, exceptional nutty, buttery flavor with absolutely no "edginess" to it at all. I see that General Cigar has taken over this brand and will have Michael Gianini giving it "the Foundry treatment". I only hope that he doesn't change the flavor profile too much. I like it just like it is.

Have only smoked a couple so far. Flavor is strong yet mild, with very light peppery flavor. Construction is suspect as one of just a few has started to unravel, but hey, this is a 20 year old cigar. Overall, good deal for the low price
