One of my favorite treats
wolfgangld on 12/04/14
My preferences have typically ran along the mild to medium, but this cigar has caused me to rethink my preferences. These cigars are outstanding. The most simple way to describe the flavor - it's like a smoky hot cocoa. I like to light one of these up on a cold day and let it tell me a story of campfires and roasting marshmallows and sharing ghost stories. The more technical stats: Even draw, smooth finish, even burn with copious smoke. I know some people are critical of the wonky caps on Padrons, but I think it's just a product of the wrapper type, and it's a small price to pay for the amazing flavor.

Padron Series 3000
Fuentes 8-5-8 on 05/15/16
This is a medium-full bodied cigar. Flavor notes: cocoa, cream, hint of coffee, pepper & spiciness. The draw is very easy. This was a great stick. Towards the end it becomes stronger but very good stick.
High Class Cigar with a budget friendly price

Padron 3000 maduro is what started my lie affair with cigars. This was the first cigar I ever smoked that worked very well with my palate. Dark cocoa, espresso, a little spice but overall creamy smooth. If you haven't smoked a Padron 3000 maduro you are missing out. Fair warning though: you better get yourself a nub tool. I burned my finger tips and my lips on this one.
Solid cigar for the money.

Well constructed cigar. Tight seams and nice cap. Wrapper is solid looking with a slight tooth. Medium amounts of spice right off that bat that fade quickly to a pleasant nutty, creamy flavor. Spice fades after first third and maintains the enjoyable nutty, creamy flavor. Chocolate pops in now and then. Burn is sharp and requires no touch ups or delights.

Even though it has an ugly appearance it is a very well constructed cigar. The ash held firm and was well formed with a good burn and excellent draw. The flavors, although a little one dimensional, are very good, making for a good easy going and enjoyable smoke. I’d rate this a good everyday kind of smoke.
Quite the stick for the price!

Great value! Typical Padron dessert flavors at a low price range. It definitely lacks the aged tobacco flavors of the 1964 series but brings the chocolate, coffee, earth, and pepper in a medium-full body profile.

You can always count on this Padron to be one of your favorite cigars. The flavor that you experience is only that of a great cigar. You need to have these cigars in you humidor for that.special moment. Excellent draw, smoke, burn and flavor.

Great value and remarkable consistency delivered every time with this great stick. The 1964s and 26s are great but this is nearly just as good. A tad less complex and a bit uglier in appearance but it is truly amazing.

I have tried these a few times. In my opinion they are a little to strong for my liking. I know of others that think different of me. The draw seems to be consistent and the cigar is solid. The 3000 cigars are affordable and last about one hour and a half. While I think they are strong for me I didn't detect a harsh after taste. When I write a review I am giving you my honest opinion. Why write a review when u don't want to accept it thus not giving credits.
My go to inexpensive smoke

The maduro 3000 is one of the best deals in sub $8 cigars. Super rich chocolate flavorw, earthy and nutty tastes dominate the finish. Good construction, great burn, all around Padron quality and flavor for bargain price.
A very nice smoke

Beautiful wrapper - great chocolate color - nice oily feel Love the box shape 1st inch burned fast and uneven and need to be touched up - after that it burned slow and very evenly - ash held nicely Sweet creamy bread flavor - followed by mellow peeper Long finish Paired nicely with Four Roses Single Barrel Bourbon Would also be a nice stick on the 19th hole with a cold rich lager.
