2 hours of fine, dependable relaxing.
This is one long-lasting cigar. It took me about 2 hours to go through. I almost finished a book I just started. The cigar was immaculate. The construction was excellent. The ash holds on for a good inch. The flavor doesn't change all that much throughout the smoke. It's mainly a nutty, cedar, pepper cigar that won't let you down. It's rare that I'll have enough time to sit down and smoke a cigar this long, but it was enjoyable. This is a great cigar that is dependable and good for relaxing with a consistent burn.

Do not confuse these with their cuban counterparts as they are not the same. This cigar has nice leather, sweetness, and a hint of caramel. It's a decent stick with coffee and if you can find them cheap it's worth smoking once.
The legendary Montecristo Churchill. Amazing every time you light them up. Creamy nutty and earthy with thick smoke. Burns well and is always top notch construction. Really enjoy these every time I smoke one. Box worthy for sure.
Classic for a reason
This cigar is classic. Great construction and appearance. It's really the type of cigar that people picture smoking. It's big and if you don't rush, there's 2 hours of smoking and relaxing in your future. Flavors are medium bodied and creamy with touches of pepper and the smallest bit of spice. Solid stick.
Great smoke for that two hour coffee break.
If I could, i would smoke one of these every morning, the problem is I neither have two + hours for coffee, nor the gallon I would drink. A mellow and delicious smoke that is guaranteed to start your day off right. The Cuban version is better, however, this one is quite tasty.
This was a decent smoke well constructed, with a good draw and easy to light. This smoke also burns very even throughout. However, this in my opinion is way over priced. There are just as good cigars perhpas even better than this for half the price. The flavor was nothing spectacular as expected for the price.
Very good cigar

Top notch cigar. The construction is luxurious and it feels that way not just in your hand but in your mouth. Hard to put this one down. Consistent draw and taste. Wife loves the aroma and never complains about me smoking these inside. Nice relaxing cigar

This is truly a smooth stick! Monte Cristo is simply a classic cigar with mild hints of coffee and cedar, always a good draw, great construction, and always an even burn. There's a reason they cost more than your $3 or $4 stick. All around win!

Great celebratory smoke

I thought this was great! Actually smoked them all with my groomsmen on my bachelors party, so my rate my be a bit biased. Went great with the bourbon, tasted great, and you always look like a badass when you hold a Churchill
Montecristo is always a first!

Now this is absolutely my favorite brand. This cigar smell is sweet and heavenly, smoke is thick and smooth with hints of honey, caramel, cream and almonds. The burn was razor sharp with an A1 construction, medium strength but full on flavors, although I loved it, my preference are smaller vitolas. Life is Good !!!
Very tasty smoke!

Montecristo is definitely a worthy smoke. This particular cigar is a great size for a couple hours of relaxation and amazing taste and aroma. It's a consistent burn throughout and offers delicious taste from beginning to end. It's become a staple in my humidor and for sharing with friends.

Great smoke, but needs dry boxing to be at its best. Great draw and flavor. Probably one of my favorites so far. This cigar is a classic for a reason. Woody, creamy smoke that lasts for about 90 minutes of pure relaxation.

Given the combination of finest wrapper, binder, and filler, and one of a kind blend, the Montecristo Classic Churchill Connecticut stands out as a complex and flavorful smoke on the milder side with bountiful taste notes and an easy draw.
Great but had a bad wraper
saltnpepper11 on 07/30/15
Great flavor very light draw. I don't know if I had an odd ball bad one but started to crack and come unravled soon after lighting it. Purchased a second one because even with the issues it was a great smoke

We'll talk about the perfect cigar. The draw is excellent, flavor nothing like it hints of coffee a little nutty flavor mix allin one. 99.98 % of the time the construction of this cigar is excellent . I just love these smokes when I can afford them. I give them a BIG 10

One of the classics sometimes you're in a mood for a Monte what else can I say . Flavor is mild to medium but not lacking at all. I've always wanted to try one of the Cuban montecristo but don't really know where to come across one. Guess I'll have to take a trip.

This was a great smoke had a good draw good with the drink I was having at the time burned well with a nice ash and would recommend this smoke if you want a new best friend to add to your humidor try one for yourself and see
Redneck on 08/05/15
Ok, like the Montecristo, it's a fine medium bodied smoke and construction is pretty consistant. My major complaint is price. If the price was lower, I'd frequent it more often, but I'll stick with cheaper boutique blends.

This mild, smooth, buttery, oily stick with a kick of spice is a great addition to any humidor. Rest assured that you will be receiving a well constructed and consistant smoke from the cigar magicians at Montecristo every time you light 'em up!
First time is not a bad one

Just had this cigar last night and was very impressed with the quality and consistency of the cigar. Flavor was good it was a little harsh but all in all a pretty good quality cigar for the price. Especially one that I may have time and time again
It's a Montecristo ...

Can't go wrong with montecristo
Broheim88 on 07/23/15
A pretty long but smooth cigar. You will need at least over an hour to enjoy this work of art. As always for the brand, the consistency was delivered with nice light brown wrapper and mild smoke .

What can you say about Montecristo that hasn't been said? They are a leader for a reason. Always well constructed and consistent. This particular one gives you a nice, smooth, milder smoke. I always keep several Montecristos in my humidor because of this. For me, I prefer these with coffee or something milder to drink. Do yourself a favor and try these. You won't get a million different flavored and it won't knock you loopy, but what you will get is a nice, smooth, enjoyable smoke. Cheers!
Great one to have on hand

I love this cigar. I smoke this as often as I have time. I love to give it away as everyone I give it to loves it. I find it generally mild to my taste. It doesn't knock you over with that nausiating nicotine rush other smokes give. The cigar lights well. The draw is great. The burn is even with a great ash. Obviously the contruction is above average and consistent. The flavors develop over the smoke. They begin with that wonderful Montecristo creaminess which remains thru out the smoke. There are flavors of leather, Coffee bean, cedar, subtle fruit and heavy berry flavors. That wonderful Montecristo spice develops over the course of the smoke. This stick is a delight from start to finish. Give yourself pleanty of time for this smoke, figure a good hour and a half. Great with an old Singlemalt Scotch or Armagnac (especially Janneau). Appropriate for beginner cigar afficionados through well seasoned smokers.

Absolute fan of this stick. Great flavors, all around, and great construction. Not overly complex but just enough to where you don't know what's gonna be hittin' the pallate next. Honey, chocolate, coffee, leather, spice. It's all there. The burn was razor sharp and the ash held a couple inches each time.
Almost a perfect stogie
Nolagizmo on 08/03/15
Easy to draw, great taste well constructed cigar. MC made this delicious stogie right. I could easily make this one of my goto grabs for my humidor. Burns evenly with no stress, even if you allow it to burn out relight just as delicious as the 1st pull. Hats off to MC for creating this one.
Williaje on 08/04/15
An absolutely delightful smoke. EXTREMELY mild, yet complex. Construction is exactly what you'd expect in a Monte....... Flawless. Easy draw, plumes of smoke and an even burn make this a joy to smoke. Whether you enjoy it with a morning coffee or after dessert late in the evening, this stick will not disappoint. If you're in the market for a quality cigar, look no further.
What's not to like about a Monte?
Mountain Man on 08/06/15
Perfect ring gage and length and any Monte is good no matter what. These do not need to age in the humidor unless you just want them to. I like to keep some on reserve so I do not run out while reordering. With JR,s quick service, I seldom run out of any of my favorites.
Wow just WOW

One Fine Cigar
Pfk on 08/14/15
Top of the line all the way! Finely made cigar, nice smooth wrapper. The Montecristo Churchill is probably my personal favorite cigar. It's a nice tasting smooth even and cool burning stick. The draw is very easy and this cigar booms with rich flavor that produces a creamy smoke. You do have to allow yourself plenty of time to enjoy this stick. It could last up to two hours to smoke. So be sure to smoke it slow and enjoy the tasty nuances of the Montecristo Churchill!
bmwtech550 on 08/18/15
This is a well-made cigar with a sharp burn line and a good draw for its size. Lesser larger cigars are sometimes so stuffed they don't smoke right. I am a fan of very strong/dark cigars and thought this one would disappoint at first — but it's got some good flavors and exhibits quality construction which goes a long way in my book. I would likely not buy more for myself, being a fan of the strong stuff. However, if you prefer lighter blends you are likely to enjoy this one.
Nice smoke and enjoyable experience
Solby on 07/23/15
It may not be a Cuban but it's still en enjoyable endeavor. Prelight draw is a bit grassy, woody and tobacco. First third light peppery flavor, retrohale is woody with a hint of sweetness. Okay smoke output. Second third heats up a bit, still some nice flavors. I only get about a medium from this stick. Final third the peppery flavor kicks up just a little bit and that hint of sweet reveals itself as a honeyish flavor. Nice cigar. If you can get them on special it's worth a pick up.
Slow burn on 07/22/15
Might be the best cigar that I've ever smoked. Great flavor, excellent tobacco. Strong flavor and a good amount of smoke when I exhaled, but didn't make my mouth feel like someone took steel wool to the roof of my mouth.
