Can't believe all the flavor that is packed in such a small package. Perfect size for those times you really want a cigar but don't quite have the time for a big boy. Really smooth and consistent pull and pretty even burn. Nice mild flavor throughout and held together right until the nub. Great little smoke.

An overall good choice
Chad252 on 12/27/16
By nearly every metric we use to gauge a cigar's goodness, this one is a winner. The construction is consistent and excellent, the draw is good, it's a nice, slow, even burn, the ash is terrific (easy to get a solid inch of tight ash), and that deep, rich brown oily wrapper is indeed gorgeous. I didn't love the flavor right off, but it was certainly not bad -- a bit acrid on the first third, settling a bit as the cigar progressed. Had the flavor been more to my liking, I'd be over the moon with this one. Even though, it's still a good choice, and taste is certainly subjective. I think this stick can benefit from a period of aging in the ol' humidor, and for me, a punch cut yielded better results than the straight cut. If you like Montecristo, this is a nice choice. Perfect size for an easy breezy 30-minute smoke, and pairs equally well with a good sipping rum or a morning coffee. Not as great with whisky, I found.
Montecristo Dark 444 - Questionable at this time.

I hope to have a better opinion of this cigar a few months down the road, maybe after some time in my humidor things will improve. I have smoked 4 out of this box and all 4 the first half smoked fairly well but by the half way point the cigar became very soft, by the time the final 3rd arrived they were so soft that continuing beyond that point was not possible. From the other ratings it seems that quality control had a bad day with this box so far construction has been a big problem
All's good until the 70℅ mark

This cigar is off the charts until you get to the 70 percent point... Then all bets are off the table... Now if you think I am going to diss this cigar, you are wrong... It falls apart at the 70 - 80 percent smoked Mark... But up until then - stupid good
