Released in 2010, the very popular My Father Cigars La Reloba is handmade in Nicaragua at the My Father Cigar Factory. These fine smokes are crafted with a blend of hearty, aged Nicaraguan long fillers, a spicy binder, and an eye-catching chestnut brown, hybrid Habano Rosado wrapper from Ecuador. A few puffs of this smoke will reveal a complex cocktail of cedar, dark roasted coffee, and spice. Upon exhale, the smoker is greeted with sweet notes of caramel and honey. Perfectly balanced, extremely satisfying, and aged to perfection, this is one cigar you won’t want to pass up.

Surprisingly Good Cigar and a GREAT value.

Cigar Indian on 05/13/15

This cigar represents a value in terms of its complexity and development through the course of the smoke. It burned nearly perfectly and slowly requiring one touch up in the final third. It was firmly packed with a perfect draw. During smoking this cigar progressed through two or three key stages. At first it was spicy, with a good medium bodied pepper note. It had some sweetness, and hints of almond, and a hint of what I might describe as citrus. In the middle third, it developed more citrus, some creaminess and the pepper was more secondary. The sweetness started to show some vanilla overtones. The finish extended in length and complexity. In the final third the almond notes became toasted, the citrus moved to the finish and the vanilla sweetness seemed to fit into the middle of these flavors effortlessly. It stayed cool and was smoking great at 2", a place where many cigars star tasting like I'm smoking the ashtray rather than the cigar. This cigar really develops as it is smokes, and therefore it's almost like smoking two different cigars, both delicious in their own right. And it's as good or better than many sticks costing twice as much or more. In the words or Arnold: "I'll be back!" Smoke if ya got 'em!
