Rich and complex flavors

Rich and flavorful are the hallmarks of this great cigar. I loved this baby from the first draw. It grows on you after every puff. Complex with notes of earth and leather with some pepper. I promise you will enjoy this one!
Not for me

After seeing other reviews I was surprised that my experience was so negative. Draw was good, burn was even, but the taste resulted in me only smoking it half way-had enough. Even the odor was not pleasing. I Definitely could taste the coffee, chocolate, and pepper others mention but it was more like old coffee grounds with a burnt after taste.. First cigar in a long time I didn't enjoy at all..... I bought a 5 pack; perhaps I just had a bad one... but i would be happy to hand over to anyone the other four at no cost.

Good cigar. Not a lot of smoke. Chocolate flavors. Not sweet at all. Wrapper unraveled. Had to use vegetable glue. Uneven burn, but inspite of those problems, I enjoyed the smoke. Won't be buying another one soon, but if it was gifted to me I would smoke another.
Strength and pepper

Consistent flavors of pepper and spice ending with bitter chocolate. First band would NOT come off clean and ripped the wrapper. Flavors are good. I love Pepin blends. It just didn't change my life. Quality consistent smoke. Slow burn. I think this cigar was made for strength lovers.

Fantastic cigar. I am in love with the entire line of MFC cigars. This is by far my favorite of the bunch. Great draw and construction. The flavor was excellent. I would not describe it as full but very rich and complex. The spice, earth and leather blend to wonderful aroma.
Taste like no other.

There is a good amount of pepper in the first few puffs, though the signature Pepín blast isn’t quite as overwhelming as might be expected, at least until you get a few puffs in and the smoke has had a chance to work over your senses for a few minutes. It’s about half an inch in that the My Father Le Bijou 1922 hits its first winning combination, as the pepper, earth and just a touch of grilled meats come together to create an attention grabbing aroma. As expected, the burn line is sharp and even, smoke production is sufficient and air moves through the cigar with no issues whatsoever. When the first chunk of ash breaks off, an astonishing amount of pepper joins the smoke, filling the nose with a nostril-tingling sensation that reawakens the senses in preparation for the next section.
Best enjoyed with company

Never a disappointment from My Father, this is by no means an exception to that rule! An all around fantastic smoke! I tend to enjoy theses with a cup O' Joe in the morning or a nice glass of bourbon.
