This robusto has supplanted my past favorites with its smooth rich draw and none of the initial sourness of its competition. As always, I savor my cigar with a complimentary beer and Sierra Nevada Octoberfest supplies the right amount of alcohol and malt sweetness for a great post lunch treat.
Great but construction issues

Very smooth and complex blend notes of coffee earth leather and spiceextremely full bodied only problem is lack of consistency in the construction when they burn right there excellent otherwise they require multiple touchups which can be annoying other than that I would highly recommend

Complex, strong, and gaudy

There are a lot of "My Father" cigars out there, by name or otherwise, but this is the flagship. One thing to know before you get into anything from My Father S.A. is that they are strong and spicy. These are full-strength and full-bodied cigars to the extreme limits. Take that with a grain of salt, though, because one thing I've found with MF cigars is that this tends to mostly apply to the first and last third portions of the cigar as the middle usually relaxes in the strength department a bit to reveal a rich, nutty, creamy and flavorful center. It's like finding the creamy center of an Oreo cookie. Construction, performance and quality are almost always top-notch with this cigar so no reason to wonder there, but the flavors are particular, and you really need to have the stomach to handle an in-your-face beginning and end. If you have the gut to get through those moments, though, then you'll be rewarded with a rich, complex, and elegant array of flavors and aromas.
