Bad smoke

Dadoc157 on 11/29/15

Glad you ask. One of three smoked was great. Second was uneven with stem mid way. Third was awful no draw, like a hollow tube. It would not stay lit. It was full of stems or veins. How can I get my money back? Hope the remaining 7 are not as bad. Dadoc157@aol. Com

Not bad at all

stevenw211 on 07/05/17

Bought a box and smoked a few. Still got the Macanudo quality and woody scent with pleasure. Only one had the draw issue. The best part is the bigger wrapper proportion bringing up the woody notes due to the small ring gauge. Overall it's a decent one at this price range.

an ok smoke that was once better

dowersd on 04/19/16

I was a huge fan of macanudo. However. I find the cigars hard and the draw less than perfect ever since the company was taken over.

macanudo rothschild

Not a great cigar on 04/01/16

draw is hard. not like smoking a rope like other Macanudos but not much better. Macanudos have gone down since they were bought out.

don't uy Don't buy

doubled on 04/01/16

The cigar is hard and the draw poor although not as bad as I had with Macanudo Ascots. but not much better either. I was a longtime Macanudo smoker until it was bought out, but I switched to Romeo and Juliet. I suggest others switch brands too.

Under-rated gem

Romeo on 08/17/17

Great mild - medium cigar. Creamy, nutty aromas and flavor with consistently even draw, even burn and creamy smoke. Love these with a coffee after breakfast. The reviews with too easy draw probably are too dry. Reviews citing uneven burn problems are probably over-humidified. If you pull one of these out of a properly humidified humidor, you can be assured of a very enjoyable experience.

Ive had about 4 or 5 of these and the burns are inconsistent. Mild bodied smoke that could use a but more flavor

Another great Macanudo

thedoman on 04/20/16

Macanudo hits another homerun with this one. No disappointment here. A well-constructed cigar with spicy to nutty overtones and beautiful aroma. Would recommend to anyone

No real flavor

memgim on 12/26/15

Like most Macanudo cigars I've had. This one has great construction and draw with pretty decent burn. Also like most Macanudos it has little to no flavor at best I very lite tobacco and that's it.

Macanudo Rothchilds

Roger on 6-9 on 06/09/16

I've purchased the Macanudo Rothchilds in the past. It's a very smooth, mild smoke having an even draw. This batch, however has had a very tight packed section about 2/3 the way down on 2 out of 4 cigars smoked. I've had to rod and re-light both. Hopefully the cigars in the rest of the box will not have the same issue.
