As with the other sizes of this Undercrown line, I love the delicious flavors--which include coffee and spice. This san andreas wrapper and a filler blend similar to the Liga Privada no. 9 make sure that you'll always be happy. It was my first box buy!
Great stick at a great price!
AgentWiggles on 07/03/15
Had my first Undercrown last night with a Crabbie's Ginger Beer. Really enjoyable smoke. The smoke rolls off this thing, big puffs of thick white smoke, packed with rich flavor. Great cigar that I will definitely be returning to!
Stmazak on 06/25/15
I love this cigar! I fill my humidor with these every chance I get. The construction on these is fantastic and they always burn consistently. The Undercrown has flavors of coffee and leather which are consistent throughout the cigar. It also produces a good amount of smoke. Great cigar at a reasonable price!
Ezlvn33@aol.com on 06/22/15
Let me start by saying I've only smoked one of these.. that being said I found it to be satisfying in flavor and complexity the draw was a bit tight for me the burn well I had a couple relights . I feel that may be due to humidity on the day I smoked it.
Well made and I hope you like the flavor more than me
Steveb on 06/20/15
I love the No 9s the T52 and the rest of the Unicos including the papas fritas, but this cigar just doesn't do it for me in the flavor department. The cigar is well made and burns well, it's just not for me.
Another great from Drew Estates!!

Wow where to start. After a few week stay in the humidor it was time to see what this stick is about. Upon first inspection you will find a nice smooth oily wrapper with minimal veining. The cold draw was light but yet complex. After toasting the first hot draw showed a small pepper to start then a nice smooth cocoa taste and aroma with hints of chocolate and coffee. The fisrt third to the last was the same. A very nice think smoke and nice finish with this stick. I think i am in love.
Stalemunchies on 06/15/15
This is a great choice if you want some offerings from drew estate but can't afford the unico series. Very rich flavors with lots of changes in flavors. The burn was amazing as was the draw. This is definitely a box worthy smoke, although I prefer smaller sizes.
A+ for drew estate
Peegebear on 06/13/15
Another fantastic cigar by drew estate. The smoke coming off this cigar was incredible, the flavor had good complexity. I feel it was more mild then stated but was very good. I will be buying more to keep on hand.
One of my favorites
I am a huge Undercrown fan. The smoke output and flavor from this cigar are amazing. The spicy coffee notes go very well with the cocoa and leather undertones. I always have some of these in my humidor. Box worthy purchase for sure.
Mr.D on 06/09/15
This cigar is a strong smoke , made by Drew estates which are famous for their Acid line of cigars, this stick is much different than that. Bold flavor and robust smoke, an experienced cigar smoker will definitely appreciate this stick.
squidot on 06/08/15
I'm not really a de fan, nor am I an undercrown fan. I tried very hard to get into this line since everyone raves about them but they just aren't for me. I don't like any of the vitolas but the larger ring gauges seem to taste a bit better to me. I will likely never smoke Another undercrown.
Tim on 06/06/15
What a great cigar this is. If you are a fan of earth, leather, coffee, and cocoa, then this would be in your wheelhouse. The cigar starts out with more of the earthy flavors and by the second third it brings in strong coffee and cocoa. I'd say it's medium to medium full. TONS of smoke.
Edram13 on 06/05/15
Excellent cigar. At first smell you can smell a bit of chocolate in the cigar. The draw and construction were great and the burn was a bit uneven but fixed itself over time. This is a great smooth cigar, with hints of cocoa, chocolate.
great cigar... When burning right
Tbone666 on 06/17/15
Great flavors solid medium full body with a strength kick. Very smooth rich earth and pepper with coffee and coco notes. Only complaint is half of the ones I had had major burn issues a couple tunneled so bad I couldn't smoke them.
All hail the king
Johnnyfrank100 on 06/09/15
Drew Estate has the combination to a secret safe somewhere. They have all the good blends locked away and this is just another example of this fact. They née to take the undercrown and put it on its head. They are the kings of flavor.
Thajebus on 06/12/15
One of the best smokes out there, especially in the price range. Beautiful cigar with a dark satin looking wrapper. Puts out tons of smoke. Amazing flavor profile with cream and leather, and a little pepper at the end.
Big bad ugly!
Porter2495 on 09/22/15
This is one of my most favorite cigar lines. I frequently smoke the toro. With all of the hype surrounding larger cigars I thought I would give this a try. I can't say that I'm terribly impressed, nor disappointed. it's smokes pretty much the same as the other sizes, just for much longer. I personally find it to be a bit too long of a slow as it burns very slowly.
Crockpot on 06/14/15
The Undercrown is one of my daily go to smokes. The Gordito is a little bigger vitola than I normally prefer but it still had great flavor and was constructed beautifully. Worth your time for the right price
Always killing it.
ThatCOprep on 06/07/15
Undercrowns are great cigars. This size isn't the best (corona viva is the best) but all undercrowns are great smokes. Smoke output is crazy and the flavors are fantastic. Pepper, cooking spices, and hints of coco, espresso and cedar on the retrohale.
Fantastic mid range cigar
coolestmage on 06/25/15
What an amazing cigar. The smoke absolutely pours out of this things, typical of the Drew Estates construction. Notes of coffee, sweet tobacco, and leather dominate the flavour profile. I'd say this is a solid medium bodied cigar with medium strength. Definitely recommend having at least a few in your humidor at all times, you won't he disappointed.
Great Bargain Smoke.
Ginobli on 06/27/15
Although not the best vitola of undercrown they never disappoint. Construction is top notch. Ash lasts more than most cigars. Flavors are light and creamy throughout the whole process. One of my favorite blends out there today.
Camwheel on 07/05/15
The biggest problem with this great cigar is how unbelievably tight the draw is. It makes the cigar last forever! But the flavors are so amazing. Chocolate, pepper, leather, tobacco, floral, and more! Pairs great with gin and lemonade.
Candle wick like aroma.
Derek on 07/09/15
Love the cocoa and chocolate flavors from this stick. The aroma of the smoke smells just like a candle wick. I haven't gotten good comments from two strangers who smelt the smoke aroma upon crossing the smoke downwind on one occasion. I was in the mountains to be carefully respectful when smoking these. I like the smoke aroma, though that is for those who appreciate everything cigars. Would be best to toast this stick respectfully a distance away.
Great taste,a bit strong
Blackguilt on 06/12/15
Great offering from drew estate. Has consistency issues with the burn line at times. Required a few touch ups. Flavor wise it was great, though this vitola was a bit strong in the nicotine department. Couldn't finish
the dark crown
M. Martin on 08/14/15
Looks as good as it tastes. This large dark cigar is guaranteed to satisfy the medium to full bodied cigar smokers appetite. Smooth and strong. Excellent construction. At this cigar humidor today. You will not be dissatisfied
Larry on 08/04/15
I really enjoy smoking fine cigars and this one is as fine as they come. i make sure I have a good supply because as with most of the Liga Privada line these go out of stock often. I truly love this cigar and would recommend it to all level of smokers.
Firm pass. Not for me. Tastes like earth!
Itsthenoff on 07/22/15
So let me start by saying I'm probably in the minority, but I have never enjoyed an undercrown. Smoke pours off the foot and the smoke is very thick, but it just tastes like earth/dirt and pepper. Occasionally a dark coffee comes in but it's bitter. A faint bakers chocolate at times too, but the smoke has a little bit of a grit and I don't care for it.
One of those 50-cigar bundles for $20?
Mr. CoolCol on 06/15/15
A very unexciting cigar in nearly every way. I've smoked a lot of cigars in my life, and I'll admit, it was hard to recall my experience with the Undercrown because it was so incredibly average.
Undercrowned but not undersold!!!
M.Johnson on 07/20/15
It may not be Liga Privada but it's a step under and flavor wise on the same level it's an incredible smoke and a humidor stuffer for sure even at the high price tag but JR has it cheaper than anyone
A Smoke With Friends
mben342 on 07/20/15
This may be my favorite go-to cigar to smoke with friends. An exceptional cigar at a great price. Drew Estate provides rich flavors of coffee and coco with a soft, elegant draw. Full flavored but smooth for anyone to enjoy. One Undercrown is never enough. Do yourself a favor, get a box, share with friends, and enjoy with a Bourbon and Root Beer.
A definite get
50cal on 07/16/15
My buddy would not shut up about these so when he invited me to go fishing with him I got us both some of these. I smoked a few over a week and I have to say his rants about how nice they are were warranted. Perfect draws on all 3 that I had and an overwhelming pleasurable experience. it's going to become a regular for me, but I recommend you at least give it a try
gobias123 on 06/11/15
Love the Undercrown! Perfect smoke to introduce someone to the Drew Estate line. Great flavor with lots of smoke production. Medium - full bodied without being overpowering. Will make you want to buy a whole box.
Every one needs to smoke this cigat
Viking85 on 07/13/15
This is an amazing cigar! I love it. Bold flavors with a lot of smoke from smooth even draws. The spice of the Nicaraguan tobaccos are on display with this cigar. Buy a 5 pack if you're unsure, but you will be back for the box later!
great with coffee!
Popeye00701701 on 06/09/15
This was a great cigar with a dark roast coffee! My kind of smoke, balanced, subtly strong and it had a decently even burn. Only issue is that in the last two inches or so it really doesn't want to stay lit.
Farmer_jay on 07/11/15
Great draw, great construction. Great flavor very chocolaty with earth and some spice. The cigar was very consistent through the entire experience. The first through second third gave sweet cream, coffee with creamer, musty tobacco, earth, and leather. Remains consistent throughout, will buy again!
Undercrown? Yes, please!
Solby on 07/04/15
Dark stick. Solid construction. Cool ass band. Smells like leather and tobacco. Prelight is minerals and tobacco with a rich leather. First third has smoke production like a chimney. Peppery and smooth. Razor sharp burn. Hint of coffee on the backend of the draw Second third the coffee kicks up. Still smoking like a building fire. Still has a razor sharp burn. The rest of the flavors stay consistent. Last third everything is the same, and it's awesome. Still a clean burn, spice, coffee and leather linger on the profile. It goes down to the nub for me. I love these sticks and you should give them a shot if you haven't.
Tony on 06/28/15
It's a full-bodied smoke with strong flavor. Definitely something to have after a full meal. I enjoy this cigar during the week to relax after dinner. The Undercrown is a well constructed cigar that puts out large clouds of smoke and an amazing aroma.
Undercrown is a cut above
RogueSpider on 06/27/15
My experience with Drew Estates cigars is a long and most appreciated one. I haven't found many issues with any of the lines and have smoked my share. The Undercrown is a cut above. Although mine felt girthy and heavy and had a not so common hard draw, the flavors of dark coffee and toasty nuttiness were very prevalent. It burns well, a tad uneven and the ash held on for almost 2 inches. It burned a nice bright white and threw off plenty of thick smoke. This is the first Drew Estate cigar I had to run a draw poker through, but it could be I got a tight one. Wouldn't stop me from picking up a few more. I would say the the stick is medium bodied, getting a tad more strength on the back third or so. But the flavors held true. I pick up a bit of peppery spice on the back of tongue and the lingering smoke has a pleasant aroma. Definitely recommend anyone to give this a try. Construction tight and the cigars cap split on the punch again a first from any Drew Estate I've ever smoked. Not enough to not come back for more.
Undercrown should get the big crown!!
Nickdagostink on 06/27/15
Probably my favorite go to. Strong, dark, smoke monster. Perfect to wind down a night. Price is unbeatable and have had some experiences with these cigars that are better than the LPs. Don't let the DE scare you. Definitely try one of these.
