La Gloria Cubana Serie R
No. 4 · 4.88 × 52 LGSR453
Finished with either an oily Ecuador Sumatra or a heartier Connecticut broadleaf maduro wrapper, both of which add to the bold yet very mellow flavors and underlying hints of spice. These smokes are characterized by their larger ring gauges, as well as their complexity, easy draw, and long finish. Definitely a real treat for the experienced smoker.
The Serie R comes packed in a beautiful dark mahogany, cabinet-style box. A definite wish list smoke.

La Gloria Cubana Series R No. 4
Fuentes 8-5-8 on 05/18/16
This is a full bodied cigar. Flavor notes: wood, floral notes, pepper/spiciness, earth, orange peel. This cigar earned a 92 rating - well deserved ranking. Burns even and smoke production is wonderful white puffy clouds. This is a must have in rotation.
Habit forming pleasure.

Oh these are habit forming LOL!!! Rich and spicy all wrapped up in a rich dark oily wrapper. You know just holding it and feeling it in your mouth you have a quality stick in your mouth and once lit it lives up to all the promise!!!
I love La Gloria cigars !

Very impressed with this cigar, full bodied but very smooth with excellent construction. La Gloria is one of my favorite cigars, I have a had a couple where the construction was less than perfect but the flavor profile is right up my alley.
There are better cigars for the money

I was not pleased with this cigar personally. I've smoked it twice, thinking maybe the second time would be better, but it wasn't. I usually prefer stronger cigars, dark wrappers and lots of bold flavor, but these were just bland and tarry tasting. I gave it about 20 minutes to open up and show some different flavors, but it didn't. I was disappointed across the board with this one.

Amazing, tight seamed, oily wrapper. Smell of the cold cigar is near perfect. Nice aroma of tobacco and barnyard. Draw is near perfect. Sharp burn that requires no attention. Flavor is bright and lively. Good tobacco flavor with coriander and spice. Smoke aroma is among the best I've ever had the pleasure of experiencing. The level of spice comes in and out and adds a nice layer or complexity.
How I learned about maduro wraps.

I was a new cigar smoker when I first had a chance to enjoy this cigar I was vary skeptical about the dark wrap I was under the impression it would be a rough hard hitting smoke but after my friend and I finished making our purchase and I lit up I was quite pleased at my friends suggestions mine was punched not cut and the draw was a true thing of beauty before I left I bought 5 more I still love to have this cigar on occasion a little bit pricey for a everyday luxury in my case but still a vary reasonable price for the value I still suggest this cigar to my friends who are just starting out .
My all time favorite

All five categories, 5 of 5 stars! There is so much flavor and aroma in this cigar. It smells just as great as it tastes. I can even begin to explain the almost chocolate my coffee flavor I pull out of this oily beauty
A Fine Time

Not an instant go to cigar but always a pleasure to smoke. Raisn/cherry flavors with hints of cocoa/coffee usually make up this stick's flavor profile. Fit and finish leave nothing to be desired and so far has been consistent.
Nice flavor, but...

I’ve had both of the 2 I’ve smoked come unraveled on me near the end, which is especially disappointing because the fine flavors of dark chocolate and the thick chewy smoke beckon me to take ‘em down to the nub.
