This one should be on everyone's "must try" list, especially when combined with a rum drink. Well constructed and flavorful, the few of these I have smoked were great cigars for when you aren't trying to break the bank.

Sophistication and Class for the Working Man!
EEConstable on 11/06/15
Carillo family tobacco. Thick, rich, creamy smoke. Consistent notes of spice, light pepper and even some sweetness. Draw was little tight. This is one of those premium cigars that a working man can afford and definitely enjoy.

I believe this is one of the best cigar that I have tried so far. A friend of mine gave me one of these. It had a very good draw, and held a very good ash, nice flavor and medium to full strength. I would like to buy more however they are a bit pricey for me.
Not bad, a good after dinner smoke
Darkpartys on 08/19/15
Not bad. A bit on the light side and not as complex as a typical LGC R. As I find with most LGC. I think it can use a bit of aging. The construction was very good, but a bit on the veiney side with a very easy draw. I personally like a tighter draw on these. Good for an after dinner, or late afternoon backyard smoke

My favorite size for that long relaxing herf session in the patio on a beautiful day, you'll probably want to eat a hearty meal before smoking this cigar, it's on the full strength part of the spectrum and will make a beginner call it an early night

The charlemagine is deffinatly not a stick for people messing around. It is a stick got for a king. However it doesnt taste like that. Its size makes it a mostly constant tobacco taste. I guess it depends on the person.

This was a fairly sweet cigar, and went well as a 'pass the time' cigar. It was enjoyable, but not too flavorful. The draw was a little too tight, but that may have just been the one I had. It burned evenly which is a plus, and it didn't seem too harsh at any point.
Go get this one

La Gloria is one of my favorite cigars and Charlemmagne gives you plenty to love. This is a long smoke, but it is a good one. A little spice with nice wood tones, a beautiful oily wrapper, and a perfect construction.
My favorite cigar
Fatman31 on 02/19/16
One of the smoothest smoking cigar I've ever had. It was rich and creamy and full of favor. The burn was great no touch up need. It had a nice sweet taste with a nice earthy hint with it. This cigar is one of my favorite and as long as I can I'll keep buying them. And u such to.

These little babies are so good they will make you croon for more! Due to their thin profile they are pretty strong with a nice glass of scotch after dinner. Near perfect draw, smooth consistent flavor, and a variety of notes like pepper, cocoa, and leather make these a great bang for your buck cigar.

La Gloria Cubana if one of my favorite brand name of cigars everyone I've tried is excellent. With this particular cigar it has an amazing blend of tobacco and spices that just stick to your taste buds. This will give you a nice warm feeling of relaxation plus it won't fall apart no matter what.
A great cigar while lounging.

Great smoke that I have smoked on some special occasions. Medium to full bodied that is great to enjoy while sitting down - for me it is a bit too strong to have while out golfing or walking the dog. Great flavor and a special one.
Danoc24399 on 01/04/16
Overall not a bad cigar. The draw was fine. After feeling the cigar it felt like the Tabasco was tightly packed and therefore the draw would be hard but like I said the draw was fine. The price was affordable. There weren't any visible viens and no harsh after taste either in the beginning or the end.
Good for the right price

Really like these cigars, but have seen Gloria's become more expensive in the recent past. They are worth a little more, but especially in this size, don't pack a whole lot for the $. The serie r on the other hand...
Golf days are ahead

The La Gloria Charlemagne is a very well constructed cigar. Draw was near perfect, flavorful, and burn was fairly consistent to the end with a couple touch ups. I would recommend this stick to any la gloria fan.

The La Gloria Cubana line dates back many many years and has a cult like following in Cuba and everywhere else. The thick smoke of this cigar swirls around the beautiful deep brown wrapper and shows off its brilliant construction. A great flavor to this cigar with deep flavors to match up with a peety scotch or espresso!!!
Zberry7 on 11/07/15
For some reason the stick I had, which was ordered online, was constructed terribly. Was not what I expected, on top of that it was very dry and starting to crack. This might have been due to the retailer I bought it from.
Wheresbilly on 09/09/15
ell made cigar with slightly veiny wrapper. The first half inch is uneventful, then there is noticeable oak with pepper in the background which continues until the finish. Burn was good after one slight touch up in the first inch. The ash tended to be a bit flakey. A quality cigar. A definite keeper.

4 out of 10 this is not a very good cigar at all for me, construction, smell, and overall appearance is good, but lacks on flavor, draw, and burn. Different strokes for different folks as they say, a gentleman in my club enjoys one at least every other day.

The La Gloria Charlamagne is one fine cigar. Solidly wrapped in an oily dark leaf. These cigars explode with rich flavors that exude billowing clouds of smoke. The La Gloria Cubana Charlamagne has a nice even burn, and is cool burning. This is a really nice smoke.

The cigar lives up to its name it is large and will give a consistent smoke. Construction is usually very dependable but I have had things in these which will cause a run. Don't let that put you off though this is a great cigar and something you will not regret as your humidor
Bootylover69 on 08/08/15
I'm actually having one as I write this review. Flavor of this cigar is the bomb. Very easy and pretty sweet. It's deff smaller then a lot of cigars as in width but so far it is well worth it. Construction is not to bad but could be a little better. I think this is one of my favorites so far
Not half bad!
Rpaf524 on 08/06/15
A consistently mild, smooth stick with strong coffee flavors. He wrapper is a rustic, leathery brown with visible veins and seams. Letting them age in the humidor for a few months makes all the difference. A good stick for the price!
wow Amazing cigar

La Gloria Cubana Charlemagne is a very well constructed cigar. Upon holding out for the first time prior to lighting this cigar you just know it's going to be a great experience. Deep rich smoke emanates from this superbly crafted cigar.
Sthatcher on 04/24/16
I am a huge fan of the Serie R. Great size great smoke. This one was less impressive. Still great flavor but the construction was lacking it unraveled and canoed a bit. I would def try it again though as the namesake deserves that much.
Can't go wrong with this brand
Broheim88 on 07/26/15
Very well constructed cigar and the wrapper has a nice oily dark brown color. Perfect smoke for watching the game or playing poker with the boys. Plus you would also make an impression with a fine cigar with such a great reputation. I will always have this in my humidor!
Old times remembered
Cigarmedic on 07/23/15
This an excellent cigar for the smoker with discerning palate robust flavored and copious smoke with a consistent moderate draw not allowing the cigar to heat up while smoking. Again as I have stated in other reviews it's a big cigar and has a commanding presence in the hand and looks good in the humidor as well as while smoking and the aroma is a deep earthy tobacco scent hardening me back to the days my uncles and grandfather would be sitting on our front porch enjoying cigars at family gatherings and what else can I say it's a great smoke.
