(19 Reviews) | Write a review

The Romeo y Julieta Cedro Deluxe No.1 is the perfect size for capturing the full depth of flavor this premium brand has to offer. Not too big, and not too small, this Lonsdale is made with a rare TBN java wrapper and stuffed with fine Brazilian/Dominican long fillers for the perfect mid-day smoke. Packaged in boxes of 25, each cigar is wrapped in an aromatic cedar sleeve to further age and enhance its already rich and well-balanced flavors.

A friend of my husband gave him a box of Romeo Julieta 1875. He thinks this may be the best cigar he has ever smoked.

A "go to" staple

Walter Luffman on 08/12/15

Romeo y Julieta 1875s are my "go to' cigars -- mild-to-medium, tasty, very well constructed and very consistent. I have bought a few boxes of the Cedro Deluxe No. 1 and No. 2 in the past year, and they usually show a bit of that desirable surface deposit known as bloom or plume. (One box had a tiny bit of mold, but not enough to concern me; I just wiped it off.) if you want a mild-medium cigar that is very well made and doesn't cost a small fortune, give the Romeo y Julieta 1875 line a try.

The closest you'll get to a Cuban cigar

Nezarov on 09/05/16

I would say the taste of the 1875 cedro de luxe #1 is 50% real Cuban cigar taste. If you crave Cuban cigars, this cigar will probably do it for you.

No wonder they were free!!

San Antonio Smoke on 07/01/16

My previous review covers the Romeo y Julieta Cedro No. 1. I could not review the free specials that came with this order for some reason. The Casa de Ortega smokes are really bad. No wonder they were free!!

RJ Cedro Deluxe 1

CaptRic on 04/08/16

I have always enjoyed this stick, RJ Cedric #1, however lately I have had a number of dried out cigars. Love these and will continue to enjoy them.

Pretty good

Pokerbob63 on 03/20/16

Excellent flavor from a thin stick. I'm more of a big ring guy, but theses Cedros are very tasty.

One of the more flavorful Romeo and Juileta cigars. Nice smooth and even burn. Sure to be a new favorite.

Aficionado on 11/28/16

Great flavors and smoke, but on occasion I will need a relight because of tunneling. I've had a few of these already and 2 of them had construction issues. Probably a fluke.

Nice toothy R & J

Matsumura on 07/28/16

I don't usually think cedar tubing is more than Windows dressing but it seems to make this subtly woodier than the usual R & J

Tried this from a sampler. Expect a perfect smoke from this cigar. Nice mild spicy flavors and a perfect draw and burn
