This seems like everyone's first cigar. I think we tend to forget about these old standbys, but it's always nice to revisit them. Smooth, packed with flavor, and fantastic aroma. They don't break the bank, and smoke much better than what the price tag would suggest.

Throughout, the construction is solid. The burn line may meander a bit, but it’s nothing a few touch-ups can’t quickly correct. The draw is clear, the smoke production adequate, and the gray ash holds firm off the foot throughout the slow-burning, enjoyable smoke.
Great cigar for unwinding

The 1875 Romeo and Juileta is not my first choice of their product lines but an enjoyable cigar none the less i know alot of my friends enjoyed them alot more than i did but its mainly just the profile wasnt what i was hoping for i only had one so probably worth revisiting in the future
Nice average cigar

Nice average cigar for the price, but nothing to wright home about. Nice construction, draw and very consistent. Good taste with no surprises, but I consider it a bit bland. Good cigar but I have had better in this price range.
Very Nice Smoke

I enjoyed my box of R&J over a period if eleven months. The first few were good but aging them a few months brings a better experience. The favors seem to ripen and blend in a very friendly way. The result is a spot on, beautiful smoke, perfect almost anytime. Traditional Cuban flavor palate makes for a must have in any humidor. Nut and tobacco dominate the taste. Creamy and thick smoke.
Maybe I really am R&J biased lol

I love this cigar and the belicoso is a perfect size for me. R&J is one of the first brands that I was introduced to so I'm usually easy to please when it comes to their stuff. This is very nice and smooth cigar, to me.
Truly a masterpiece!

This is my honest opinion of a highly recommended stick,at first glance ,the construction is really well formed The taste of this cigar is far from what you expect! The draw is full and the taste has hints of cedar and coco. I highly recommend this stick! sw
Romeo Y Julieta 1875 Belicoso Review

The Romeo Y Julieta 1875 Belicoso was a superb smoke. Very well rounded, excellent flavor, great draw, and construction unlike any of that I've seen in a good while. Definitely a good smoke.

I hate to admit this but did not really enjoy this cigar. Don't get me wrong but it is an old school smoke. One of my favorites but there so many different cigars today that are much better for the price. Take a chance on the new ones.

Overall a really nice cigar. Perfect for wanting a great smoke when you don't have a lot of time. The only complaint is the inconsistency in the rolling. At least one in ten are rolled so tight that they are difficult to smoke.
Jeffsanjuan on 10/08/15
Smooth smooth smooth. You know what you're going to get out of this everytime....very consistent. This is a very mild smoke, which is great in the morning, or afternoon....also when you just want that mild smoke. Also, goes great with coffee and will be great as a novice cigar. I keep these on hand when I have friends that don't smoke, but want to hang out with a night cap.

One of my all time favorite cigars. It has a great draw, not to easy and not to hard, just right. It's a great tasting cigar, the taste gets better and better as you smoke it. I love tbe way it's constructed. Beautiful smoth wraper , from the beginning to the end.
Dependable milder side smoke.

I have smoked a ton of these cigars. Always return to them when I am looking for a mild smoke that never disapoints. For the ring is what I prefer in that it is large but not giant to the expend of what we see now days.
Consistent and Mild
DSpiegel on 10/07/15
I have smoked about 6 so far and I find them to be a high quality cigar with a consistent flavor of vanilla, nuts with a black pepper bite. I prefer a heavier cigar but I keep these in my humidor ready for a morning Smoke or friends.
A decent cigar, not my first choice.
Leatherheadff on 09/26/15
A decent cigar, mild flavors and mild to medium strength. I had some construction issues and it didn't burn quite right, but was still enjoyable. Not a very complex cigar, but most RyJ smokes aren't really that complex.
It's an hour &1/2long vacation!

The 1875 belicoso is just another great premium stick of the Romeo y Julieta brand. Great construction, tons of silky smooth smoke, and their classic flavor profile of fresh cedar, nuts, and a light woodsy finish. Take off the wrapper, smell the foot of the cigar, and your last Romeo experience comes rushing back. You know your about to have another great smoke!

The romeo y Julieta belicosco, this is a cigar not for the beginner, this is a medium to full body cigar with a kick at the end,but this cigar is a very good overall cigar, great balance, brings the flavors together to create a terrific cigar,I rate this beauty a9

I went with a punch cut for this smoking experience, and after hitting the D-042 BFC with my torch lighter, the cigar burns decently. The draw is good and there’s plenty of smoke, but some touch-ups are needed. The ash is a tad on the flaky side and is white in color. Smoking time is 90 minutes.
