Excalibur: A Kingly Smoke at Pauper's Prices

Ronald Johnson on 11/01/15

Excalibur JR Alternative is an outstanding cigar for the price; I have paid much, much more for so called "premium" cigars and have found this cigar far exceeds other touted brands that will empty your wallet and leave you wondering what happened to outstanding affordable smokes at a fair price. The Excalibur is a mellow, nutty smoke yet Maduro rich in flavor, each tobacco blade offering a smooth draw, though I have had a few burn unevenly, but only a FEW. No problem: I just flame the uneven end, and the rest of the cigar is pure Havana bliss. Excalibur's construction is outstanding, again much better than cigars costing far more. I have not found a hard drawing cigar among the one hundred or so I have smoked so far. Excalibur is an apt name for this marvelous tobacco blade: King Arthur would think it is a kingly smoke. Don't ransom the kingdom for more expensive cigars if what you seek is a gem of smoking adventure offered at pauper's prices.

Great value, great taste, great smoke

This is a great "golf course" cigar, I enjoy the stronger maduro cigars, it lasts about six or seven holes so I usually smoke two a round
