With a hint of chocolate, pepper and espresso, followed by cedar and anothet tasre of pepper this is great for that moment of relaxation, perhaps a glass of Macallans 12 to finish. A solid cigar and priced competitively. Thumbs up...

I didn't need another must have in my humidor but I have one anyway,a very balanced cigar with some strength but could be one of the best cigars I have ever smoked.Burned perfectly even from start to finish and is simply amazing, if you haven't tried it you have truly missed out!

I just smoked this cigar again last night and I was reminded of how great a smoke it is. Got it to a real nice 2-2 1/2 inch white ash before it dropped! It's the little things! Anyway, great draw and burn, very flavorful medium cigar and I love the dark wrapper. Highly recommend and I will definitely get more!
Hoyo de Monterrey Dark Sumatra Noche Review

This is a medium bodied cigar. Definitely satisfying and complex. Flavor notes: woody and cedary. ½ into cigar flavor motes of tea that accompanies some toasty flavors before a long and leathery finish. Draw was OK but tend to burn uneven so had to touch up throughout.
Bold and beautiful

Tantalizingly rich. The Dark Sumatra series from Hoyo de Monterrey is a robust and rich cigar - even fuller in body than the original Hoyo de Monterrey. Blended by Estelo Padron, its deep, rich wrapper is striking and aesthetically pleasing, while the the taste is satisfying and complex. This Honduran beauty is made with a dark Ecuadorian Sumatra wrapper, Connecticut broadleaf binder, and long-filler blend of Honduran, Nicaraguan, and Piloto Cubano leaves.

This 54 ring cigar is very full flavor and robust with peppery , expression and cedar flavors and aromas ! This is a slow burning cigar that lasted me a good 2 hours of lasting pepper and cedar notes all the way to the nub . A very relaxing smoke that drew a little hard at first then opened up ! When I have a box of these the box is always near empty !
Starts beautifully but finishes a beat mean

A very well made and even burning cigar that starts off with a lot of flavor and medium plus strength. Cedar and coffe and pepper really come through in a nice mix for the first 1/2 to 2/3s of the stick. After that it gets very harsh to me, strong and just not appealing. If they could make that last bit as good as the first this would be a cigar very high on my list.

Nefertiri was Beautiful

This is a great cigar! Tight wrap and solid construction. The dark wrapper makes for a very tasty smoke, strong but not overbearing. Peppery, with hints of leather and earth. Flavor lingers long on the pallate. A real Nefertiri beauty.

Power house of flavor although I prefer the Excalibur line this is a winner as well great flavor well built cigar and flavor and clouds of smoke issue forth from this testament to the blenders and rollers skill
Nice robust cigar

A nice tasty heavy smoke. For me this is an afternoon or after dinner cigar. Very flavorful. Good construction. Lights and burns great. Good cap that is strong and holds up well. I like this cigar with a punch cutter.
