out of the ten or so that I have smoked, there hasn't been a dog in the bunch. I bought mine years ago with the initial release, and they got better with time, losing some of the strength, but not the aroma. Maybe not a bargain at six bucks each, but if price isn't an object, they're worth trying.

Wow this little stogie is packed with some great tasting smoke I just love these and if you haven't tried them I promise you won't be disappointed and you will be peeling off the band and pinching this little stick to the last puff for sure ...don't burn your lips just fire up another one ...I will always have these in the box for sure ..thanks hoyo for an awsome smoke
Great Little Smoke

This is truly one of the better cigars to bear the name Hoyo De Monterrey made either in or outside of Cuba. This Sumatra wrapper with a Spanish cedar sleeve is a perfect medium to full bodied cigar. The rich smell of cedar and perfectly blended aged tobacco is first thing you notice. Secondly is the dark cocoa color of the silky smooth oily wrapper. Whether the first stick or number 378 like me, you'll notice flavors of coffee, Spanish cedar, leather and dark chocolate. It also it burns evenly, has a nice draw, obviously well rolled and consistent from box to box. The price is so economical it makes it a perfect go to cigar at any time of day. It's appearance makes it look impressive and it's flavor will keep you coming back for whether you're a newbie or you've been smoking like me 25+ years or more this is a winner. Happy smoking and God bless you
Not Too Bitter

I am not a coffee drinker, never have been, so you'd think I wouldn't care for the coffee notes. I usually find these kind of sticks bitter, but this was actually smooth with good cocoa notes. Probably good with Hit chocolate.

There was absolutely no spice, just a great, smooth, mild chocolate-y flavor, with a great coffee aroma. Definitely the least spicy cigar I've had; if someone had told me that beforehand, I would've been turned off, but after experiencing it first hand, I have to say, it was actually quite pleasant.

Just smoked one of these puppies today. Perfect draw and even burn. Mild start with a spice to the lips. Middle really became interesting with a nice relaxing hints of sweet cedar and a bold finish. I'll take another!!
