Dream smokes.

Dino on 07/04/15

These smokes are some of my favorites. They are well made and smoke like a dream. Good smooth taste and they are a good deal at the sale price.

Nice cigar

nawz8r on 07/16/15

Nice burn and tight ash, mild to medium as stated. The draw is somewhat tight. Good value on sale.

When they are good......

Andy on 11/14/16

Of the 10 I ordered, the first 2 were flawless, and one of the best smokes I've ever had.....the next 8 were so tight they were unsmokable. Buy if you are a pipe smoker who likes a little cigar leaf added to your blends.

Let buyer beware

Ike on 09/24/16

Received Certified Vintage Hoyo Figurado . Cigars were dry as dust with hole on top of one cigar . Do not like writing negative reviews but these cigars should never have been sold

Dried up.

prairiepuffer on 08/24/16

These cigars came to me dried out and rolled too tight. Unsmokable and will be returned.

Not worth the Price

Hildantonio on 06/01/16

Very tight draw. I gave away what was left of mine. Flavor was mediocre ... at best.

Terrible Purchase

USN on 02/03/17

One of the worst I have purchased. Dry as the desert and impossible to draw. Save your money for something else!

Not a Sumatran wrapper

Country Smoker on 03/10/16

Connecticut! Don't get me wrong, these are some great aged cigars for an even better price. BUT THERE IS NO WAY IN HAIDES THAT THE WRAPPER IS ECUADOR SUMATRAN! Not even of Sumatran origin. But could have been grown in Ecuador, but with a Connecticut shade seed. Who knows, might as well call it USA Connecticut shade. If there's one thing I do know for sure, is that the flavor profile is in no way shape or form Ecuador Sumatran. Everything from the color, texture, aroma, retrohale and straight flavor screams Connecticut shade seed.

Just ok revisited

Gtimpany on 07/08/15

I too found these cigars to be very tight. Not bad for the discounted price, but certainly not worth full price.

Great Value on Sale, Okay Value at List

Paul from Jersey on 07/08/15

At two-fifty a stick on sale, an absolutely sick value. Beautiful to behold, lovely, smooth, natural wrapper. SolidWith a sharply tapered end. Solid as pipe but a nice, even draw. Beautiful, even burn of solid white-grey ash with that pretty black-pucker burn ring, sign old a well-aged cigar. Lovely light to medium body, nuanced, slightly spicy, dry, cedary flavor, very nice, could easily smoke a few a day. Sometimes the wrapper loosens a bit, a hazard of very old cigars. Upside: so solidly built, this xigar xan sit a good long time and not need relighting. Love 'em.

Just Ok

jburn244 on 06/21/15

Decent smoke but not worth the full price. Wait until they are on sale. Construction is great. Draw is tight.

Great Flavor But Inconsistent Burn

Oliver on 03/18/16

These smokes vary in burn and draw consistency. Some sticks you can barely get a draw and others are just smooth and enjoyable.

Terrible!

Mike the Tiger on 05/23/17

The flavor and draw of these sticks are absolutely horrible. The first three I tried were rolled so tight it was nearly impossible to get any smoke out of them. I will give the rest a try but will never order them again.

Vintage Hoyos

sonofstin on 06/14/16

I have always loved Ecuadorian wrappers which is why I wanted to try this one. I have always been skeptical about aged cigars and whether not it makes a huge difference. This one made up my mind. I've been smoking Hoyos for 10 years and the age on this 16 year old cigar shines through. Creamy smooth silk envelopes the palate and reminds you every puff why we keep smoking cigars. Amazing.

Give it a try at the right price. What do you have to lose?

Mike the Tiger on 05/07/17

I am not yet sold on Hoyas regardless of what Hoya it is. They can be great or completely mediocre. When they achieve consistency I may consider having them in my humidor more often. If you can catch them on a no risk possible high reward sale go for it.

Nice Stick

JS on 04/03/16

My one complaint is the tight draw on about half of my cigars. Great semi sweet citrus flavors. The draw usually opens up 1/4 or so into the stick. I will buy again.

Fantastic aged cigar

spewak on 05/24/17

When JR has a vintage sale, buy! These are fantastically even burning, great tasting vintage stogies. Don't say that I didn't warn you...

Hard to beat for the price

Smittyz on 12/13/16

I got these babies on sale. For the price, it's very hard to beat. As this is a milder cigar, I find it best in the morning paired with a cup of coffee and cream.
