Try this bargain smoke from Hansotia
Randal on 06/25/15
A decent value smoke from Hansotia. I used to quip that i never met a Ghurka that I didn't like, this is no longer the case. More and more often, I'm getting smokes from Hansotia with inconsistent construction, or bad Tate, sometimes bordering on skunky. But this is one that I'll definitely be buying again.
Great smoke for a great price!

A very enjoyable smoke. Sitting by the fire pit with a glass of single malt is the way to enjoy this full bodied smoke. I purchased a box last year for guests to enjoy during my daughter's wedding reception. Luckily I was able to enjoy one myself. Just ordered another box to enjoy this summer.
Another great Gurkha smoke.

I obtained the Gurkha Black Rose Toro in a sampler pack. Of all the samples I had in this pack this was my favorite. I love the size and the shape. I simply love Gurkha. All their products have great taste nice chocolatey and expresso. Not too much leather undertones and not peppery at all. Smoke smooth all the way to the end. I ordered it all the time I really love this one.
Great humidor stocker

Love Gurkha cigars, and the Black Rose style smokes are a great bundle to pick up. I prefer these bundles over the Colorado style. They have a little more flavor than the Colorado's, but not much. I consider them more of a heavier/darker earthy smoke. Preformed great start to finish. Great humidor stocker.
I mean.... It's a Gurkha

I don't smoke to many Gurkhas, this was just barely ok. I gave the other three I had away, just not my flavor or taste. But in my experience with a few Gurkhas I either like them or hate them, never love them

This is an OK cigar. It doesn't have very prominent flavors, but it is still fairly enjoyable. I've had one fall apart on me, but it may have been an anomaly. the price is a bit much for tha quality, maybe wait till there's a special.

This ghurka is definitely a dessert after dinner stick. Right off the bat when you draw there is hits of nuts with a sweet tobacco aroma. After the first third you began to notice hints of cocoa, had to touch up the burn a bit but definitely worth it for the rich waves of flavor

Like all the other Ghurka lines, I find this to be hit or miss. You can try it one time and it be very good and other times it could be less appealing. That would be the only complaint. Other than that good flavor, aroma and draw.

This was a good cigar with notes of pepper spice lots of smoke Output, cigar also burned well. Cigar was a five on my scale they could do a little better. The wrap had a tendency to crack and split as i smoked it. It was a little loose, and did not hold ash well. Gurkha being such a praised brand, i was slightly dissappointed.
Another Ghurka Winner

Ghurka always has high reviews and this particular stick is no exception. Strong peppery flavor with earthy and nutty notes. Smoke was thick and laid on the palate for a long lingering finish. Draw was tight and got a little hot at the end, but overall, a good strong full flavored smoke.
One positive, other negative

Another one of my first cigars that I smoked one of and gave the other to a friend. They both started to unravel when first cut but it wasn't too bad so we both kept going. He had to quit half way because he said he didn't like it and it was too strong but I made it to the end and enjoyed it. Deep, earthy flavors and a strong punch made it a not bad cigar in my opinion. I would recommend it but my friend would not.

I bought a 5-pack of these to get a free $250 knife. Not bad, huh, 20 bucks for 5 cigars AND a $250 knife? The knife itself was probably worth 10 or 15 bucks, so that brought the price per cigar WAY down! As Gurkhas go these aren't the best, but they're spicy and well made, worth buying during a promotion.
love this stick

I love it the best smoke I have ever had . I wish I had one right now, but I'm at work.. People that me be saying why you smoke them things.. For one it my way of a day or a bad to get things off my mind. Have a nice drink with it. It goes good with anything. There's not another cigar out there that I would like to smoke.
not even close to expectations!
Mrfood53 on 06/08/15
I love a good Gurkha, but this one was definately not up to par. IMHO. Draw was like sucking in air. Did not tighten all the way to the end. Because the draw was terrible the flavor suffered tremendously. Not even close to an even burn. I bought these in a five pack, smoked two. The remaining three will be taking a long, dark nap.
