Alert the presses! Casa De Garcia has come out with a tasty new cigar that’s easy on the wallet. The mild, delicious and very well-balanced Casa de Garcia Red is a handcrafted smoke that hails from the fertile soils of the Dominican Republic.

The Connecticut Broadleaf binder is wrapped in a velvety, smooth Connecticut wrapper, which provides this gem with a mild-medium bodied blend of sweet, creamy flavors. In addition, the filler is an intriguing blend of Honduran and Dominican tobaccos that make for an excellent everyday smoke. Whether you’re a beginner or seasoned cigar aficionado, the elegant Casa De Garcia Red’s tobacco mixture and fragrant tip ensures a perfect touch of sweetness in every puff.

Enjoy with your favorite cup of coffee or fine spirit, and you have a great cigar for any time of the day.

It's a Cigar...

EricS on 09/03/15

Below average draw and construction. Outside of a sweet tip the flavor was underwhelming.

Casa De Garcia Red Toro

lawdog on 03/10/15

Previously I've smoked the Casa De Garcia White and Blue label in the 60 ring size and enjoyed them. Considering the price, these cigars are a steal. Just got the Red in a 50 ring. It's construction is rougher and the taste is nothing to brag about, but for working in the yard and sipping a cold beer, it will do fine.

I love these

Airhawk on 03/20/15

Just an amazing cigar, especially for the price. Smooth and mild and tasty. I smoke 5 Vegas as well, and it is a very good cigar, but in the long run, the Casa is better and a lot cheaper.

silent but enjoyable

vgro383 on 03/21/15

first smell of the wrapper and foot seemed a little bland, not much going on there. you light this cigar and the first two puffs were also off, about into the 1/3rd in the flavors started to light up. all the way consistent and a decent cigar.

My go to smoke

Old F. Art on 03/22/15

A decent cigar for the price. Replaces my previous favorite, Riata 700 because the price is right.

Nice spice

Dune Devil on 06/11/15

Love this everyday smoke. The little amount of spice is just right. I really enjoy these as an everyday cigar.

Casa de Garcia red

light66 on 07/22/15

Sweet smooth and mellow that is how I would describe this cigar. I like it first thing in the morning. Not to mention the price is right.

Classic Cigar Taste

OxonHillbilly on 03/23/15

This tastes like a cigar made from cigar tobacco leaves. It does not taste like a leather chair with hints of elderberry speckled with vanilla and raisins. I prefer these to the entire line of Montecristos made in the same factory. I guess some would say I have poor taste. I reply, "I don't think so."

Cheap friends

Texas Tommy on 12/22/15

The perfect cigar for anyone with friends who like to smoke cigars but seldom buy. I've tried a few and not bad for less than a buck and a half per stick.

1 out of 5 are not so good.

siunyc on 12/04/15

As with any budget cigar, there are good ones and not so good ones. The good ones are mild, even burning and smooth to the end. The not so good ones canoe or are difficult to draw. Overall, for the price, I'll buy again.

Ok for the price

Heywood on 10/30/15

This is a nice cigar in respect to construction and smokability, it just didn't have a lot of flavor. Would be ok to buy as a hand-out at the poker game or party cigar.

Already On My Second Bundle

fldback on 10/19/15

First, let's understand that these are $1.50 a stick including shipping. With that in mind I enjoy these cigars quite a bit. And since my daily smokes have to be in this price range these along with the Casa de Garcia Whites have become my go to cigars. The construction is good as is the draw and the constistency. A mild cigar that is still flavorful.

Mi case since casa

Hamstarr on 09/18/15

Basically my favorite all around smoke. I prefer the flavor and you can't beat the value of the CdeG Reds. My friends seem to enjoy them too, just don't tell them they're less than $2 each or they'll think you're cheap.

Reliable inexpensive stick.

Tommyb04 on 04/13/16

I love the casa de Garcias for their value. Consistent quality in construction and good flavor. Nothing mind-blowing, but a good reliable stick for the price. So many other low-price cigars are inconsistent, bad tasting, have burn or construction problems or all of the above. You can count on these to be average tasting but well built and burning properly every time.

Very nice, low price

Walter Luffman on 08/12/15

Casa de Garcia Red is the mildest of the Casa de Garcia offerings, with a Connecticut Shade wrapper. Construction isn't quite as good as, say, a Romeo y Julieta -- it's packed a little looser and the wrapper leaves may occasionally have more prominent veins, but overall the construction is pretty good for a cigar in this price range. As for flavor, it's mild and quite nice ROTT, and improves with a little aging.

A Great Everyday Cigar

Chris NJ on 07/26/15

This is a mild Dominican with a hint of sweetness in the wrapper. It makes a great everyday cigar at a very affordable low price. It is available in bundles of twenty at JR Cigars.

Good deal

Have only smoked two so far, but both of them burned unevenly. Upon lighting, the wrapper ran up an inch or so almost immediately. But a good smoke none the less.

Perfect budget smoke

@CommonMansCigars on 03/26/16

I love JRCigars. However, I received this as part of a larger shipment and this particular cigar showed up in bad shape. The wrapper was busted in several places and the foot was really beat up. I let it sit in my humidor for a couple of weeks and was able to smoke it while working in the yard but it fell apart as I smoked it. Casa De Garcia smokes are an awesome budget cigar that I have been buying at my local shops for quite sometime. I would def give this one a try. The Maduro is also a wonderful budget smoke!

Dry

Dry on 04/10/16

Smoked first two with friend on golf course in Mt. Juliet TN last Thu. By the time we got half way thru the smoke the cigar was unraveling like it was very dry. Very disappointed. Have ordered several bundles of these in the past. David Callahan

Not bad at all, something a little different

drcab on 07/03/15

I honestly wasn't expecting much was my first cigar purchase from an online website. When I first got these. I was surprised. The draw (for me at least) wasn't half bad lot better than other I've had. The consistantly once you get half way down is alittle off. Tasted alittle different wasn't terrible though. The construction and appearance was the only issue. 1/3 of the way down one of the cigars began to unravel a little. a few of the cigars had little crack's but didn't unravel the the cigar. No big deal to me personally. They burned pretty even. Overall I would buy these again. They are not bad if your on a budget and just wanna try something different. The price is right.
