Casa De Garcia Red Toro

lawdog on 03/10/15

Previously I've smoked the Casa De Garcia White and Blue label in the 60 ring size and enjoyed them. Considering the price, these cigars are a steal. Just got the Red in a 50 ring. It's construction is rougher and the taste is nothing to brag about, but for working in the yard and sipping a cold beer, it will do fine.

I love these

Airhawk on 03/20/15

Just an amazing cigar, especially for the price. Smooth and mild and tasty. I smoke 5 Vegas as well, and it is a very good cigar, but in the long run, the Casa is better and a lot cheaper.

silent but enjoyable

vgro383 on 03/21/15

first smell of the wrapper and foot seemed a little bland, not much going on there. you light this cigar and the first two puffs were also off, about into the 1/3rd in the flavors started to light up. all the way consistent and a decent cigar.

My go to smoke

Old F. Art on 03/22/15

A decent cigar for the price. Replaces my previous favorite, Riata 700 because the price is right.

Good for the trout stream. At this price if I drop it in I don't weep.

Classic Cigar Taste

OxonHillbilly on 03/23/15

This tastes like a cigar made from cigar tobacco leaves. It does not taste like a leather chair with hints of elderberry speckled with vanilla and raisins. I prefer these to the entire line of Montecristos made in the same factory. I guess some would say I have poor taste. I reply, "I don't think so."

Sweet smooth and mellow that is how I would describe this cigar. I like it first thing in the morning. Not to mention the price is right.

Nice spice

Dune Devil on 06/11/15

Love this everyday smoke. The little amount of spice is just right. I really enjoy these as an everyday cigar.

Not bad at all, something a little different

drcab on 07/03/15

I honestly wasn't expecting much was my first cigar purchase from an online website. When I first got these. I was surprised. The draw (for me at least) wasn't half bad lot better than other I've had. The consistantly once you get half way down is alittle off. Tasted alittle different wasn't terrible though. The construction and appearance was the only issue. 1/3 of the way down one of the cigars began to unravel a little. a few of the cigars had little crack's but didn't unravel the the cigar. No big deal to me personally. They burned pretty even. Overall I would buy these again. They are not bad if your on a budget and just wanna try something different. The price is right.

A Great Everyday Cigar

Chris NJ on 07/26/15

This is a mild Dominican with a hint of sweetness in the wrapper. It makes a great everyday cigar at a very affordable low price. It is available in bundles of twenty at JR Cigars.

Very nice, low price

Walter Luffman on 08/12/15

Casa de Garcia Red is the mildest of the Casa de Garcia offerings, with a Connecticut Shade wrapper. Construction isn't quite as good as, say, a Romeo y Julieta -- it's packed a little looser and the wrapper leaves may occasionally have more prominent veins, but overall the construction is pretty good for a cigar in this price range. As for flavor, it's mild and quite nice ROTT, and improves with a little aging.
