Casa de Garcia Connecticut Churchill
Longtrail on 07/31/17
A so-called "Cheap" cigar. At one of my favorite shops I can get them for under $3 retail. JR gave me two in a 10 cigar sampler when I purchased a box of Upmann Vintage Cameroons. This is a mild somewhat creamy smoke with plenty of it. They compare favorably to Perdomo Connecticut and Ghurka Royal Challenge in flavor characteristics. The only slight downside is every now and then it burns unevenly almost canoeing but you can torch it or cut it down and relight. For massive difference in price worth much more than price. I'm not an aficionado or expert. My advice is to run like Hell from those who say they are. I'm just a cigar lover who appreciates the crafts of the farmers and rollers. May the Most High bless them. Almost all of them live in dangerous places.

I have been buying this cigar from JR for years and always felt it is a fantastic cigar for the price. The last bundle, however, contained many that were wrapped too tightly, resulting in my throwing away every other cigar after a few draws. Even at that, it is still a great cigar for the money.

Casa Garcia was a great inexpensive cigar. However recently you have increased the price by 15 percent and the quality has declined. Last 2 bundles were poorly constructed and actually came apart while smoking.
APPRECIATING ANYTHING I EVER HAD TO WORK FOR

I actually prefer a tighter draw. My tendency is to be consistently smoking a cigar vs letting it smolder in an ashtray. This often creates excessive lingering smoke not to mention hyper ingestion. In normal puffing, this cigar creates the perfect amount of smoke rising from the burn and drawing into the mouth. Condensed filler = tighter draw = reduced airflow = less oxygen for combustion = 30% longer smoke time pleasure. The perfect road trip cigar!

Usually buy these for my everyday cigar and have had good experience up until now. Went through the whole bundle and got two with a decent draw. Guess I 'm going to be looking for a new one. You get what you pay for.
win some, lose some

some of the worst rolled cigars I have ever gotten from Casa De Garcia. These are my go to brand for an everyday inexpensive smoke. These last 2 bundles of 20 were tight, hard and I probably lost about 1/3 to 1/2 of the 40 that I got. they cracked and burned uneven. Not sure if they were old, or just not right from the start. usually they are pretty good. not this time.
Good price and value

GREAT MELLOW TO MILD FLAVOR!
OUTSTANDING VALUE AND FLAVOR on 03/13/17
"Casa de Garcia Churchhills really are a Mello-Miild cigar wit a pretty good burn. These sticks are a great value and these are my everyday smokes. I purchase about 4 bundles a month and will find about 3 sticks out of 80, not a bad percentage for the price point. The biggest problem with these are JR occasionally runs out of stock. So make sure you order enough, so you don't run out when JR has the "Out of Stock " words show up when you need to order them". Paul K.
Try a new trick with the ones you hate

Ok. Let's face it. Every cigar in the lineup has issues. Are they worth it at the price? No, I don't think so. However, if you already spent the money and hate it due to their forever bad construction and draw, don't throw your hard earned money away. Take the cigar apart and smoke the tobacco in a cheap pipe. Don't laugh until you try it.
