This Churchill is a mild smoke but with full flavor. Its exceptionally smooth with a great burn and perfect draw. Its vintage tobaccos hail from the DR and Honduras. It uses a light brown Connecticut wrapper, which makes it, smooth, light and gives you that nice creamy taste. This bundle of 20 is a true mild cigar with a great price.

Fix Them Please

David M. on 08/28/17

Great taste but difficult to draw. Can't believe with so many customers complaining of the draw that they don't have the manufacturer fix them. Will not buy them again, sadly.

Quality down the tube...

Swanny on 08/12/17

Casa De Garcia quality has gone down the tube. The rolling is very inconsistent. Half of my bundles I can't even draw on the cigar. Shouldn't have to fight to enjoy a stick. JR help!

Casa de Garcia Connecticut Churchill

Longtrail on 07/31/17

A so-called "Cheap" cigar. At one of my favorite shops I can get them for under $3 retail. JR gave me two in a 10 cigar sampler when I purchased a box of Upmann Vintage Cameroons. This is a mild somewhat creamy smoke with plenty of it. They compare favorably to Perdomo Connecticut and Ghurka Royal Challenge in flavor characteristics. The only slight downside is every now and then it burns unevenly almost canoeing but you can torch it or cut it down and relight. For massive difference in price worth much more than price. I'm not an aficionado or expert. My advice is to run like Hell from those who say they are. I'm just a cigar lover who appreciates the crafts of the farmers and rollers. May the Most High bless them. Almost all of them live in dangerous places.

Declining Quality

Alphy on 06/27/17

I have been buying this cigar from JR for years and always felt it is a fantastic cigar for the price. The last bundle, however, contained many that were wrapped too tightly, resulting in my throwing away every other cigar after a few draws. Even at that, it is still a great cigar for the money.

Consstruction

Sad Sack on 06/19/17

Casa Garcia was a great inexpensive cigar. However recently you have increased the price by 15 percent and the quality has declined. Last 2 bundles were poorly constructed and actually came apart while smoking.

Decent value for the price

RK on 05/19/17

Decent for the price and a good one for lawn mowing or lazy afternoons. Mild flavor, some sticks better than others. Not much profit at this price point so makers do what they can.

Casa de Garcia Connecticut. 👎👎👎

Bogeyguy on 05/12/17

I know these are not premium cigars but there should still be some value for my dollars spent. No consistency in these cigars. Lot's of wasted tobacco and my limited $$$.

Normally one or two have blocked drawer like this group but this whole package was bad. I tried smoking 5 to no avail but finally had to return them.

New Favorite

dshapera on 08/15/17

Bought my first bundle and smoked two of them. Very very good. Burns well, tastes great. Not too strong. Just right. Good solid cigar. Might become my new favorite.

Overall good but lacked consistently

CaryA on 04/28/17

The majority of the cigars were very good but 4 of 5 of them were either very hard to draw and two had the outer wrapper just unraveled.

APPRECIATING ANYTHING I EVER HAD TO WORK FOR

Jay Wright Luxury Real Estate on 04/25/17

I actually prefer a tighter draw. My tendency is to be consistently smoking a cigar vs letting it smolder in an ashtray. This often creates excessive lingering smoke not to mention hyper ingestion. In normal puffing, this cigar creates the perfect amount of smoke rising from the burn and drawing into the mouth. Condensed filler = tighter draw = reduced airflow = less oxygen for combustion = 30% longer smoke time pleasure. The perfect road trip cigar!

Fair

JMP on 04/18/17

Fair at best--it is wrapped too loosely and falls apart easily. Would not recommend.

Bad draw

Camperrick on 04/01/17

Usually buy these for my everyday cigar and have had good experience up until now. Went through the whole bundle and got two with a decent draw. Guess I 'm going to be looking for a new one. You get what you pay for.

win some, lose some

trukdrvr on 04/01/17

some of the worst rolled cigars I have ever gotten from Casa De Garcia. These are my go to brand for an everyday inexpensive smoke. These last 2 bundles of 20 were tight, hard and I probably lost about 1/3 to 1/2 of the 40 that I got. they cracked and burned uneven. Not sure if they were old, or just not right from the start. usually they are pretty good. not this time.

GREAT MELLOW TO MILD FLAVOR!

OUTSTANDING VALUE AND FLAVOR on 03/13/17

"Casa de Garcia Churchhills really are a Mello-Miild cigar wit a pretty good burn. These sticks are a great value and these are my everyday smokes. I purchase about 4 bundles a month and will find about 3 sticks out of 80, not a bad percentage for the price point. The biggest problem with these are JR occasionally runs out of stock. So make sure you order enough, so you don't run out when JR has the "Out of Stock " words show up when you need to order them". Paul K.

Try a new trick with the ones you hate

Frank C. on 12/25/16

Ok. Let's face it. Every cigar in the lineup has issues. Are they worth it at the price? No, I don't think so. However, if you already spent the money and hate it due to their forever bad construction and draw, don't throw your hard earned money away. Take the cigar apart and smoke the tobacco in a cheap pipe. Don't laugh until you try it.
