Remeo y Julieta Hermo

JR Edicion Limitada Alt ELRJH1 on 06/09/15

This is one I have ordered for several years, usually very good for an inexpensive cigar

This is my "settled on " cigar after 12 years of trying just about everything out there. Great flavor and reliable construction every time!

I believe these are better than the real thing (well just as good anyway) at least in my humble opinion

Best value

wyominghorizon on 10/17/15

This cigar is an excellent value. Its construction, flavor, and draw are very consistent. Of course, there are occasional exceptions, but for the most part, this cigar delivers time after time. This has been my "go to" smoke for about 5 years. The flavor profile is on the heavy side. I gave it 4 stars when compared to all cigars on the market ... compared to only value based products, it would rate a 5.

Mixed reaction

AJ on 01/25/16

This is an oddball cigar. I think that it must have been made from good tobacco, by trainees in a larger company. The flavor is quite good, and typical of a mid range maduro stick. Construction is an average binder fold method. The drawback is uneven, sometimes easy and sometimes difficult. What is really odd is the inconsistencies. Sometimes I get a very well-made stick, but as I sit here I am smoking one that has the wrapper put on inside out. Tears in the wrappers are pretty common. Sometimes the cigar starts to fall apart upon being cut. I even found a couple where the only way I could figure out to smoke it without the wrapper falling apart completely was to light the cut end and smoke it backwards. For the price, I can't really complain, and as an ordinary porch smoke it's not so bad, but I would rather pick up better cigars on sale when I get the opportunity.

Alternative Romeo

Gstarr on 08/05/15

the alternative Romeo is a very good smoke with lots of flavor. I find it to be one of my favorite smokes from JR cigars. My hat goes off to the makers of this awesome smoke. It has a great pull and is long lasting with a consistent blend all the way through to the end. If you are looking for a great alternative to a Romeo and Juliet line look no further this is it.

Needs age

TheGodfather on 06/03/15

This cigar is very very rough when first bought, so rough, I thought about sending it back. After 2 month it has mellowed. I'm actually enjoying it. Oh will follow up in later review.

Oh Romeo

conductor14 on 08/08/15

I have been buying this cigar for a number of years and just can't seem to move away from it. I would agree that some time in the humidor helps even them out.

Woah!

Soonerdelt on 08/01/15

I bought a box about a month ago. I smoked one right out of the package and it was overpowering. I smoked about one a week since and am starting to enjoy them but the flavor a are still a bit too much. I'm hoping they'll continue to mellow in the humidor.

Good stick!

Very good and fairly reliable everyday cigar. Nice draw, good construction, and usually quite tasty.
