I was expecting a cigar more consistent with The Diamond Crown Reputation I was disappointed by the harsh after taste that lasted and lasted. I have enjoyed Maduro Cigars with more enjoyment after the cigar ended.

Old favorite bites the dust

Diamond Crown has always been a dependable luxury after dinner smoke for me, while I usually prefer the #4 the #5 was always good. Sadly, the quality of this once fine cigar is no longer assured. The usual silky smooth Connecticut wrapper seems less refined and whoever is rolling these seems to leave them slightly loose as if they don't put enough filler. Still ok draw but needs occasional relighting which never happened to me in the past. My new preference is the Maximus #5.
