The Bolivar Cofradia was crafted by world renowned cigar legend Estelo Padron, so you know you’re in for a treat. For a cigar crafted by such an innovator, this is one of the most affordable, delicious Honduran cigars on the market.

To start, Padron uses a unique long-filler combination originating from both Honduras and Nicaragua. The tobacco is then dressed with a Connecticut binder and a seamless Connecticut Broadleaf/Ecuador Sumatra leaf wrapper. Crisp and hearty, the result combines heavy flavors of earth and spice for a bold, robust smoke from start to finish. In short, the full-bodied Bolivar Cofradia cigar creates an intense smoking experience and an invigorating aroma you’ll want to savor again and again.

Audacious and decadent, the Bolivar Cofradia may take a few years of smoking experience to truly appreciate. However, if you consider yourself an aficionado, there’s no reason this full-bodied gem shouldn’t be in your collection.

stop with the bellicose already

jgsmoke on 06/11/15

this is a nice looking belicoso cigar I don't think about Costa really add anything to the experience you just end up cutting off about half an inch which seems like a waste to me

Great cigar. Flavors are great. Nice spicy draws. Great full bodied smoke. I wouldn't mind smoking another.

I actually enjoyed this cigar. Would I purchase again? Maybe if the price was right. Wanted deeper flavors

not bad

Really enjoyed this cigar. Mine was rolled a bit too loose though causing it to burn hot and canoe a bit. Might of just been bad luck. Great flavor though.

non cuban but ok

Johnnyfrank100 on 06/11/15

Bolivar is a cigar torn between two regions the main and best bolivar comes from Cuba. This cigar does not. But that doesn't mean it isn't a good cigar . Not as good as the Havana but good none the less.

Underwhelming, but not horrible

Blackguilt on 06/13/15

For a nc that bastardize a Cuban name this isn't bad. I tend to avoid domestic versions of Cuban names because they normally are underwhelming

Worth A Try?

RollTide CrimsonWhite on 06/07/15

Not to be confused with the original Cuban Bolivar, the Bolivar Cofraida seems to have a fairly thin wrapper and tends to crack easily. The flavor profile is middle of the road at best.

Yes!!!! What a sensational cigar! Great flavor, and cold thick smoke with a smooth and easy draw! This thing practically smokes itself!

Bolivar is one of the first cigars that I can recall being full bodied and full strength, many others have come along but it's still a great one

Crafted and smoked like a dream. Only problem was that it tasted like wet hay. Maybe I just received a bad stick but it made me not want to try again.

Not too shabby

Ricker112 on 06/28/15

Good medium bodies smoke. I'm not a huge fan of the size but I guess that is what it is. Nice woody leather and a little Spice one the back end.
