This is a little pricey for me but I buy several around the holidays for my own enjoyment. Any ashton is a flavorful, easy draw cigar. I don't smoke them back to back because of the price, but if it was more affordable I would smoke several a week. Never tried it? Get at least one and you will be hooked on the first one. Food construction, easy draw. Great paired with a brandy. Or a good cup of coffee!
Nothing is better than a VSG

I Just smoked the last Ashton VSG Corona Gorda in my humidor. When I bought these, I thought they were a bit too strong. After a year in the humidor, this cigar tasted as good as the best Cubans, and drew perfectly. I intend to buy another box
Won't disappoint any palate

A distinct flavor of aged tobacco. Beautiful wrapper and an even more amazing taste. Produces a lot of thick and flavorful smoke. Hints of chocolate and cedar. I promise this won't disappoint any palate.

Very smooth and mellow. The finish has a very consistent pepper kick. The smoke output is incredibly smooth, not creamy or oily but very smooth. Medium to full body but not overwhelming. The draw is a tad loose but you get tons of smoke output. Overall a very nice experience.
Overall a great stick

In the initial draw, I tasted some unique notes of nutmeg, espresso with a pinch of pepper. There is a underlying sweetness that carries over into the first third that reminds me of apple spice and cinnamon. There are strong notes of espresso, wood and earthy notes that show up in the latter part. The complexity of this cigar is above average and the strength stayed around a solid medium. I don’t feel it ever overpowered me nor do I feel that the cigar “bored” me. In fact, it was the quite the opposite as this is a balanced cigar in terms of strength and complexity. A seasoned veteran can easily enjoy this blend and though it might be slightly strong in the nicotine content category for someone who smokes mild or lighter medium bodied cigars, I think it would be worth trying.
Not your grandpas Ashton.

Not your typical mild Ashton. Beautiful flavors of chocolate leather and earth team from this cigar that I can best describe as luxurious and always a good choice for a special occasion or when you are trying to impress at your next herf.
Amazing stick by Ashton

I really like the Ashton brand. This is a very good stick with a smooth creamy flavor. The aroma was amazing and like all other Ashton cigars I've had, the construction of these cigars are phenomenal. This will be on my next order.
VSG does it right!

Great cigar! To store, the cigar had a beautiful dark and oily rapper. I did notice some prominent veins throughout. After getting it lit, immediately I was greeted with what I would consider a nutty flavor, with a little bit of spice. As I got further into the cigar, the original flavor faded and was replaced by A pleasant Woody flavor. In the final third of the cigar the flavors develops more into a leathery coffee flavor with the bit of spice remaining throughout. Overall, this is a great cigar that I would highly recommend trying!

My draw was a bit tight on this one, but I don't think it's a trend. All the other Ashton's have been great. It's a powerhouse of a cigar, big powerful earthy flavors. But very clean and certainly not overpowering.
Velvety, but not flavorful

The flavor was was too mild for my taste. Smoked it in the cigar lounge just after buying it. Maybe it was a dud. Who knows. But, I was expecting much more from this cigar than just velvety smoke without substance.
Not the best, will try another stick.

This cigar changed a lot for me. there was a rather large tar build up that I tried roasting off but couldn't seem to get past it. Some good notes, will have to try another stick to see what I get from it.

One of my absolute favorite cigars. If you have the patience to age these things, they are amazing. The oils that come off the wrapper are a thing of beauty. Medium-Full bodied. Flavors transition amazingly. An absolute must smoke, especially in this vitola.
Nice after dinner choice

A firm smoking full bodied cigar. I prefer a larger cigar. This tends to smoke hotter than I prefer. Lots of flavor and enjoyable. Good burn. If you are looking for a smaller after dinner cigar this is a nice choice.

Let's be honest, all the big cigar manufacturers have what I call "filler" or "fluff" in their brand lineup. This felt like a perfect example of that. Nothing stood out. Nothing bad. Decent construction. Just no wow factor. Or no cheap price. Would not buy again.
