Awesome, tasty stick!
The Whimgrinder on 08/18/15
Its no wonder the Churchhill scored #1 spot in 2011 with 96 points, and this Torpedo came in at 92. Fantastic smoke with a wonderful, complex flavor profile. The draw was a bit hard at first, but I cut it a bit higher and it was much better. This will be a regular in my humidor, for sure!

Way better than expected
NobodysFool on 11/11/15
This cigar floored me, and not because it was too strong, it wasn't. It had the perfect nuttiness in the aroma. A great smoke. My only issue: why does the very unattractive band look like there's a football on it?
don't be pressed to try... this box-pressed

well made cigar. first time I trie it I accidentally charred it and I had a few wrapper issues. however the taste was pleasant considering the over toasting . second time it was just delightful. nice and rich nuances great draw. the feel of it in my hand was nice. lots of clean, lush flavors
One of my favorites

This is one of my favorite sticks. The wrapper literally feels like fine leather, one of the few sticks that I find myself twirling in my hand and actually paying attention to between puffs. Excellent deep aged tobacco flavors with a mild sweetness. Perfect draw and construction. I made the mistake of playing golf while smoking this one because it really deserved my full attention. A nice well rounded weekend treat.
Alec Bradley Prensado Torpedo

The Prensado is by far the best AB cigar line. Don't waste your time and money trying any other AB sticks. The only thing is the torpedo has a tighter draw than day my favorite Churchill size. If you don't mind them it's definitely worth a shot. Flavor is outstanding.

Amazing cigar! Great full bodied flavors with a great draw. Gives you a solid hour+ smoke no matter what size you choose. My only complaint is that they need a long rest time otherwise the first third tends to be bitter.
Brandonrit on 03/30/16
I will be honest before buying a sampler from another retailer I never tried these. And after a smoke I can't imagine why. Normally I am skeptical of the cigar af. Ratings but this was a happy suprise. Nice mellow maduro well worth it. The only complaint I have is it seems to be a fairly quick smoke compared to other torpedos.
One of my favorites

You want a strong, rich flavor profile that is deep and complex? Well you have found it. Strong, rich, complex, and all the while smooth as butter. This is a special cigar for special times, but at the price you can smoke anytime.
An AB classic
AnthonyA1286 on 03/09/16
You don't win cigar of the year for no reason. A buttery smooth wrapper over a blend that will never get old. Beautiful medium body flavors from the first light to the last finger burning puff. A cigar that will satisfy any palate.
Raw22 on 02/29/16
An amazingly constructed cigar, smooth draw with a flavor of earth through out some leather and vanilla. Unfortunately these were the only flavors and they were dominated from start to finish with the earthiness which I don't exactly care for.
Another Alec Bradley

Overall I would say I definitely enjoyed this cigar, at very least it is worth another try. I picked this bad boy up when and Alec Bradley representative was at my local cigar shop for an event. I did notice with the construction, there was a soft spot towards the foot of the cigar. Upon lighting the cigar, once I got it lit I was having a bit of issues with the burn. I did have to touch it up a few times throughout the cigar. Those were the only issues, and I would say that in hindsight it was not a big deal. The flavor was great, it definitely had different notes of wood, I would say I picked up Cedar the most. As I got further into the cigar, a bit of spice built up but nothing that was overpowering. The woody taste remained consistent throughout the cigar. Towards the end of the cigar, I also picked up some leather notes. Overall the flavors blend very well, and it was a great tasting cigar. I would definitely say it's worth giving a shot.
Great flavor, inconsistent construction
Doe try mi on 02/23/16
I bought a box of theseAnd was very disappointed. Even though they were cigar of the year, i had so many problems with inconsistency. Plugged, wouldn't burn evenly, i think I tried to smokemaybe half the box and ended up getting rid of the rest. Too bad because the flavors were awesome...i just got tired of fighting with the stick. Haven't tried one in a few years.. Maybe they fixed the quality issues.
My top five cigar
Fatman31 on 02/21/16
What is there bad to say about this. Nothing at all it is by far my most favorite cigar that I smoke. Full of favor and a little strong but not overwhelming. The burn is great had no issues with it over all what can I say go & get some before there all gone.
Bee's Knees on 02/08/16
I've had quite a few of these now. They are a strong, potent blend of very flavorful tobaccos. Earthy, dark chocolate,y and a little nutty. I've never had one I wasn't able to savor, except for those I'm aging...it's a tough wait.

Alec Bradly prensado box pressed.
Bongson69 on 01/31/16
The alec Bradly prensado cigar is 1 of the best cigars on the market, smothest smoke with earthy tones, light sweetness, medium body ceder tones with a consistency from start to finish and a definite lip smacking nubber, you will want more so get a five pack or box you will want 1 after another, I promise !!!
Great smoke, very tasty

Absolutely wonderful cigar. Super solid construction and light up with no issues. Crisp burn line with a strong ash. Great flavor, it's a really strong cigar. I love the overall presentation of this cigar and it's flavor matches.
Cocoa, cream, leather
Dragonlady808 on 01/23/16
Wow. Dark beautiful oily wrapper... The flavor was rich and complex. It moved from cocoa, to cream, to leather and back again. I had a slight issue with a consistent burn but 1 touch up and it was fine. Lots of billowing smoke... Which I love!
Top tier cigar at a good price.
Frank.S on 01/17/16
Very good looking cigar. Very tight seams and gorgeous wrapper. Cold draw is easy but not too easy, reveals a nice sweet tobacco flavor. Slight spice on the light up that last for a few minutes. Over all a sweet tobacco and earthy flavor. Cedar and spice creeps in occasionally. Burn is even and requires no touch ups. Burns fairly cool and I'm able to smoke down to a nub without a hint of harshness. Excellent cigar.

This was the line from Alec Bradley that won Cigar aficionados grand award of cigar if the year a while back. And it deserves this high honor. Very delish from start to finish. Try it if you havent. If you have and it's been a while you deserve a treat. Grab some

I buy these by the handful whenever I find them! I should really buy a box sometime though. Probably one of my all time top 10 cigars, and there are a few Cubans on that list. Don't buy just one, you will want more!
I'd smoke it again if someone bought them for me!
riggs8402 on 01/03/16
Great cigar. I almost found a caramely like flavor from it, but not too heavy. Almost as if a hint of caramel in coffee. Others have called it peppery, I didn't get too much of that. Very smooth smoke, great draw, great construction, but I'm not the biggest fan of box pressed cigars so I just can't call it a five star
So Close to Great.
Bonjaker81 on 12/31/15
This has all the flavor of an outstanding cigar. The only problem with this stick, is the poor construction. I have smoked 15 of these in various vitolas and have had construction issues with about 11. Poor burn lines, tunneling, and multiple re-lights almost every time I have had this cigar. This is really a shame because as stated earlier, these have excellent flavor.
Beauty of a Cigar
EEConstable on 12/04/15
A strong dark beauty. Full flavored notes of pepper, burnt cocoa, leather and white pepper. Thick, rich smoke overwhelms the palate with a stunning array of flavors. This cigar scored some of the highest ranks ever by Cigar Aficianado. Draw was a little tight, but the ash burned perfectly symmetrical and firm. Beauty of a cigar.

This cigar is absolutely gorgeous, everything from the wrapper down to the band itself. Smooth, easy draw and a great flavor profile full of pepper, coffee, leather make this stick a definite must have.
