I dont know how to rate this cigar on the whole because i am not a fan of churchill. I end up wasting them a lot because I dont have time to smoke them all. The flavor and construction of the cigar was all class though.
The Nica Puro, from A Bradley

Would I buy it again? Yes. I can see a box purchase in my future as this cigar is perfect any time of the day for me. Great flavor is always a plus for a cigar and with the creaminess in the beginning it helped just that much more
Top shelf smoke!

When it comes to a Churchill there are a lot of options but this stick should be placed at the top of the list for delivering a consistent flavor through a well constructed work of art. Don't mess around get the freshest cigars at the best prices from JR.
Age this for a great smoke
Teresa H. on 06/17/16
I've had a few Alec Brads before. They always seem to need aging. Since my humidor is always full, its not a problem for me to buy one and store it for a few months. This is one of there better buys and would be worth trying. I do enjoy ir and keep a few handy for a delicious treat
Aficionado on 05/31/16
medium-bodied cigar has a surprisingly clean draw accompanied by a savory flavor full of pepper, roasted nuts, coffee and wood. The creamy smoke brilliantly complements those delicious notes throughout your entire smoking experience for a well-balanced combination.
Good flavor, terrible draw and consistency
SelfMade514 on 05/23/16
First let me state that the flavor was fantastic (as with every Alec Bradley stick I've smoked), it started off fine but after the first third, the burn became really uneven, and the draw was not that great. Maybe I just got a fluke, I'll have to try another.
Would have been perfect if the burn was better
Jakeqo76 on 05/23/16
Big fan of Puro and this one is pretty good only drawback was the burn needed tampering with a few times. A very peppery and leathery stick. And a blast of pepper through the retrohale
Patrick on 05/16/16
The flavors are just outstanding. I think it was a good move to blend this cigar using only Nicaraguan leaves. I would love to know a little more info on the leaves used. But the Alec Bradley is playing it close to the chest on their web site. At $6-$7 a stick, this is a very reasonably priced premium cigar. For this quality, they could have easily charged more.

Draw was sort of weak and wouldn't stay lit very well. Never had to relight it. But I did have to continuously puff to the point that I didn't enjoy it. Flavor was good. Alot better than some of the cheaper cigars I normally smoke.
Can't go wrong with AB
Magnanamus on 05/01/16
I'm an old school kinda guy. Not much for the "new fangled" array of stogies that have got the scene in the past couple years. I still love a good Mac, Arturo, Henry, or Fonseca. That being said, Alec Bradley cigars ate ones, I can't get enough of. This one his hard, like a donkeypunch. Not up there with Mundial, or PreEmbargo, but it's delicious all the same.
Alec Bradley Nica Puro
Mikef317 on 05/01/16
This brand is becoming to be my go to smoke. The Nica Puro is a very tasty smoke. I had a hard time putting this one out. From the very start the draw on the cigar was incredible , very good medium body cigar.
Trevor09n on 04/28/16
I actually really enjoyed this cigar. Smoked it at a lounge with a buddy and the only downside was the retro hale. Just a bit much spice for my nose. But the flavors were great. Slightly muted, but that might have been from the beer.
Another Alec Bradley hit!
Bsentaio on 04/19/16
I love Alec Bradleys and this one doesn't dissapoint. Good medium body flavors of dark cherry and sweet cedar. It transitions into an oaky smooth flavor with a sweet spice on the finish. Perfect burn and construction not needing any touch-ups. Medium strength and good burn time. AB has given another nice smoking experience, I will be looking forward to smoking this one again.
What a Nicaraguan cigar should be
Glenda on 04/12/16
This is a very good example of what I think of when I smoke a Nicaraguan cigar: a bit on the dry side, bold flavors (including spice, leather and cedar) and a general sense of contentment on my part. Not only are the flavors bold but the strength is fairly bold as well. I’d say that this is an aggressive cigar that is by no means harsh or containing an off note during this first third.
Bad cigar or bad experience??
SmokeEater on 03/25/16
So I smoke a ton of cigars. I am always trying new ones. This one I have only had one of, it was gifted to me. It was a trainwreck. Really tight draw, uneven burn, and it even split on me at the cap. The flavor wasn't great and became bitter for the final third. I may of just had one that was a dud, but either way I will not be back on this one anytime soon.
Reminds me of Talladega Nights

My teacher asked me what is the capital of North Carolina, I said Washington DC. She said "no, you're wrong," I said "you got a lumpy bu++." She got mad at me and yelled at me, and I p¡ssed in my pants. I never did change my pee pants all day. I'm sittin in my dirty pee pants.
Flyguide83 on 03/14/16
I bought A5 pack of these cigars. Out of the 5 three of them were plugged beyond the point of being able to smoke. Two of them had severe burn issues and would not stay lit. I thought my way through them anyway because of the flavor. If they could make a cigar that was smokable the flavor is tops.

Coffee and creamy taste
Danny on 03/09/16
I bought this one without ever trying a Bradley stick before. Man was I impressed! Great looking cigar with a coffee taste and smell. Once you get past the half way make the taste changed from creamy sweet coffee taste to a bit of spice. Recommend this flavor stick !
A good Churchill smoke.
Bobrice on 03/07/16
Not really a Churchill fan but this baby packs a good pinch. Hints of flavor wafts thru the entire smoke. I see signs of leather and pepper as well as a nice fruity finish. The dark is satisfactory and burns nicely. I really can recommend this stogi.
Great cigar for price.
BLam68 on 03/02/16
Nice flavor. I found that the Nica Puro flavor stays the same throughout whole cigar. While I wanted some changes throughout, I can't complain as this cigar had a good taste. Also had to touch up the burn twice.
AnthonyA1286 on 02/28/16
One of the most popular Nicaraguan puros today. If you are looking to experience the flavors everyone loves in Nicaraguan tobacco then this is the stick for you. Med-full body with some strength at the end. Great after dinner smoke.
Juan on 02/24/16
I've always been a fan of Alec Bradley as well as Nicaraguan tobacco. I was very excited about the release of these. I tried a couple and they just didn't do it for me. They most likely needed more time to rest in the humidor. I'll give it another shot sometime later.
Nica is where it's at
Smoky Ray on 02/22/16
One of the best cigars I've smoked, in the price range that is a good 2 hour smoke and we'll worth the time. Everything you would expect from a Nicaraguan cigar. I keep a few od these in my humi along with several other Nicaraguan brands.
Mw on 02/16/16
The Nica Puro marks the first Alec Bradley cigar crafted with all Nicaraguan tobaccos. Surprising, I know, especially when you consider the impressive slew of 90+ rated blends now under the Alec Bradley umbrella. But that's neither here nor there - what is important is that the Nica Puro hits all the right keys in typical Alec Bradley fashion.
Stick to the Dominicans AB!
upinsmoke on 02/12/16
The Nicas are very well rolled. Featuring AB's trademark flawless construction, they draw like champs and are strong as you could want. The bad part about all this is the flavor. They are, like many other Nic sticks, very one dimensional and seem to be trying to get that Havana flavor down by using all Nicaraguan tobacco. This does not work well in my opinion as they are kind of sour(but not the that twangy sour you associate with Habanos) with a regrettably bad after taste on the back end. Personally, I prefer their always tasty Dominicans and I'll leave it at that.
Primo Leff on 01/06/16
I picked up two of the Alec Bradley nico puros, they were great cigars for their price, especially if you like the Churchill size. First third notes of pepper, spice, a bit of wood are all present. Not very heavy on the body, low to medium. Second third The cigar builds to a medium body, spice drops off but the pepper and wood continue on to dominate. Very nice flavor at this point in definitely enjoying the cigar. The final third the pepper drops off and spice comes back to the front, along with the woodyness that has remained prevalent throughout the stick. Definitely a good cigar, I enjoyed it all the way through to the end. I would buy one again, after the two that I have smoked.
AB Nica Puro Churchill
Talking Bowtie on 01/03/16
This is a cigar I keep on trying to love but can't. I mean almost everything about it is on point. It burna evenly with ita medium - full body. The draw is always consistent and the cigar looks and smells like you would expect from AB. The only problem is that it has an extra hint of spice which comes off a little strong. The rest of the flavors balance out, but the longer you smoke the more pepper and spice comes out.
Need to revisit.
ProbateGeek on 12/31/15
I've had only one of these, and the experience was not good. Problem was the wrapper. On cutting, the cap pretty much exploded, and damaged the wrapper, which actually unraveled during the smoke. Good flavors, despite the construction issues - I should revisit.
A new favorite. I totally nubbed this one.
Tommyb04 on 12/23/15
This is one of my new favorites. I received this one as part of a sampler and had no expectations. What it delivered was great construction, nice smoke and a surprising combination of complex flavors from start to finish. I'll be ordering a box of these.
Vic on 12/09/15
I am definitely andAlec Bradley fan construction on the cigar is very good as is the burn I would say it's medium in strength, detect white pepper on the retrohale. Very good burn shouldn't require any relighting overall a very enjoyable cigar
Sloppy construction, but not bad.
Darkpartys on 11/30/15
This looked a bit sloppy not real tight, kind of rough. Taste was good, but not overly complex, not many change ups and didn't really develop. The flavour was good a nice medium. Nothing spectacular, but not bad.
Not an exception to the rule
Johnnyfrank100 on 11/29/15
Alec Bradley Nica Puro Churchill is a great smoke for me you anyone. I really appreciate the effort that the company took with this blend. It's a different flavor from the boutique masters. I love most of Alan Rubin's creations, and this is no exception.
A must for any Aec Bradley fan.
Ronhanline on 11/14/15
This cigar has the construction, taste, and price point. Thought it could be somewhat cheaper. It seems every cigar I have got has been a joy to smoke. Nice draw, consistent color and wonderful taste.
