Rocky Patel Edge Toro Very tasty and burns clean. Back 1/3 is a truly great experience however the draw has been tight on all of the first 5 I've tried. I wanted to wait before giving review on the draw until I'd had a few of them. Bad batch...maybe since all of the other reviews are very good. 3 5 1

I gave it a 3 for consistency because they don't always burn cleanly and sometimes can seem to be soft to the touch. Overall can't go wrong on any of these! 3 5 1

Rocky Patel Edge Toro Have smoked a lot of JR Alternatives over the years. Generally a good cigar for the price. Often times difficult to match between the cigar's intended brand & the Alternative possibly a general blend missing some of the uniqueness of specific brand names. Though the Rocky Rocky Patel The Edge EMS was as close as any I have smoked for one third the price. For a reasonably priced cigar they are hard to beat. Good for the daily routine smokes as I busy myself with other activities. Usually consistent in draw construction & flavor. Occasionally a bundle fails to hold up the expectations - poorly rolled won't stay lit frustrating. But this is an exception not the rule. Part of the challenge of looking for the $7 cigar for $2. Have smoked them for years seem to taste better with a little extra aging . A consistently good everyday cigar compared to most competitors in this price range. 4 5 1

Rocky Patel Edge Toro With a direct comparison, they aren't quite as similar as I'd hoped. There is a little slower draw (which I like). My only complaint is a weak held shoulder. It tends to unravel a bit easier than most. But for a $3 stick, it's a damn good smoke. 4 5 1
