Torpedo Very smooth draw noticed the flavors more and more the longer it burned. Very nice aroma 4 5 1
Torpedo Nice looking wrapper good construction. I Just opened a bundle... a little bitter at the start like many cigars it started to burn a little crooked but straightened out nicely good flavor some time in the humidor will definitely improve them. Great cigar for the price. 3 5 1
Torpedo First time I smoked one it left me a little less wanting a second. Draw was good but flavor was lacking. After my secondthird and fourth the smoke was better. 3 5 1
Torpedo Great taste excellent pull. The flavor is excellent. No to strong but strong enough. Excellent cigar for the price!! 5 5 1
Torpedo The filler is lacking and it is too soft to the touch. 1 5 1
Torpedo Has robust taste with first puffs mellows out 1/2 way down still looking for the coffee/cocoa flavor.Likes to unravel too much .Draw is good. Maybe will buy more later in year 3 5 1
Torpedo I just smoked my first one of these. Burns very evenly it starts out a little harsh but mellows as it goes along. Overall a very good yard cigar or golf cigar good deal for what you pay. 3 5 1
Torpedo Nice smoke for lower cost cigar..great burn and draw with a good falvor taste. Construction sometimes seems to vary from stik to stik and is a slight negative but would recommend 4 5 1
Torpedo Marked this one down on construction and flavor only because the tobacco is young. Give these sticks a couple months stay in your humidor and not only does the flavor mellow out but the construction is a little more sturdy as well. 3 5 1
Torpedo VERY green and about 1/3 of them had rapper damage to the point to where you couldn't smoke them. If you are okay with throwing 1/3 of them out and letting the rest sit in your humidor for a few months to mellow out then you may like them. 2 5 1
Torpedo I'm new to cigars but I like the way these cigars draw. The tast is not to harsh and the smell is pleasent when it burns. 3 5 1
Torpedo I have been purchasing the 1876 Torpedo for many years before JR offered. It was the best highest quality low cost cigar I ever found. Unfortunately over the years this cigar has had ups and downs. The Original wrapper was more like the select version with a red band. But this is a smaller ring size. Also the CT wrapper on these now is about 5 shades darker than any picture shown on line. I will still buy not the 50 plus per month I used to buy. 3 5 1
Torpedo I ordered two bundles of the "Red Label" torpedo only because the "price was right". I smoked five, each one with a tougher draw than the first. I actually dissected the last two; the fillers were wrapped too tight. I had to relight the thing five times before I threw it away. I have a headache, as we speak, and I'm waiting for JR to get on the line; I want to send these back. In all the years I've been buying from JR, I think this is only the second time I was not satisfied. As I always say, "you get what you pay for"... 2 5 1
