Long Ash Podcast Episode 18

August 30, 2019

On this week’s episode of Long Ash Podcast, Nick and Greg talk and smoke Crowned Heads Cigars.  Greg smokes the Yellow Rose and Nick smokes the brand-new release from IPCPR 2019 La Coalicion. The Yellow Rose is the third cigar to come out of the State Exclusive series.  The Texas-inspired cigar is produced in one size 6.25 x 54 box-pressed torpedo.   The blend features an oily Connecticut broadleaf wrapper with Nicaraguan tobaccos for the binder and filler.

The La Coalicion not released yet on jrcigars.com is one of Crowned Heads newest cigars from the 2019 IPCPR.  A collaboration with Drew Estate Cigars, the cigar is wrapped with a beautiful dark Connecticut broadleaf, a Sumatra binder, Nicaraguan and Dominican fillers.  Jon Huber and Willy Herrera show what Drew Estate and Crowned Heads Cigars can do as one.  This cigar will come in 4 different sizes.  Once this cigar gets released, we can see them flying off of our shelves and into your humidor.

Throughout the remainder of the podcast, Nick and Greg talk about the La Imperiosa, The Angel Anvil a TAA release, The CHC Court Reserve and the Juarez.  Also, we touch on some fantasy football and what is the best food to eat for the upcoming NFL season.

Long Ash Podcast was developed to help you learn more about the cigar industry.  The premise of the show is that Nick Libretti, JR’s cigar aficionado, teaches Greg Waters, a newbie to cigar smoking, where cigars come from to how to smoke your cigar.  We will bring to you each week different cigars they smoke, to the history of the cigar, how to’s and maybe some movie or sports talk.  This Podcast goal is to inform from beginner to veteran smokers around the world.  So, if you are a fan of Podcast, Cigars, and shenanigans light up a cigar and watch Long Ash Podcast.
