The Free Fall Auctions are for risk-takers and those who are ready to snap up a big deal. You can choose your own strategy and save plenty of money along the way.
What is a Free Fall Auction?
A Free Fall Auction, also known as a “falling auction”, is one of our many JR Cigar auctions. It is a chance for you to buy some of the best cigars on the market at a low price. On our Free Fall Auction page, you can see items that are going to be up for bid for the next seven days.
When you click on a product that you’re interested in, every few minutes you will see the price going down and dropping. You can bid on the cigar, or if you can’t bear to wait any longer, you have the option to “buy now.”
Each cigar that is up for grabs will have all the regular cigar information and the amount of that cigar that is remaining on the cigar bet.
To take part in our Free Fall Auction, you must be logged in with your JR Cigars account. Once you have logged in, you’ll be able to see the “my auction” section.
In this section, you will be able to find your watchlist, early bidding information and whether you’re winning any bids. To keep up with your bidding, we recommend turning your email notifications on so you can keep up to date!
How often are there new items to bid on?
There are new items to bid on from Monday to Sunday. Bid times start at 12 AM, 6 AM, 12 PM and 6 PM.
As we mentioned earlier, if you turn on your email notifications, you will be updated on the best chance to save some serious cash on great smokes.
Can I bid on a product that is not active yet?
You can bid on a product that is not up yet. If it’s a Monday, but you’ve seen a cigar you’re really interested in that is going live on Tuesday, you can simply click “early bid” and be in with a chance to win!
You can type in whatever amount you want into the “early bid” section, and you’ll be reminded earlier to bid on it again.
