Cuban Partagas Serie D. No. 4 Cigar Review

October 11, 2018

Cuban Cigars are known around the world as one of the finest handmade, luxury products.  Since the 19th Century, cigar aficionados around the world have praised the craftsmanship and quality of Cuban cigars.  For the casual cigar fan, names like Montecristo Cubans and Cohiba Cubans are all too familiar.  However, for true aficionados, Partagas Cuban cigars are among the most sought after, especially the Partagas Serie D No.4.  It is one of my favorite Cuban cigars which is why it was a pleasure to present you with a Partagas Serie D No.4 Cuban cigar review.

Cuban Partagas cigars are one of the oldest cigar brands in the world.  It was started in 1845 by Don Jaime Partagas y Ravelo.  Since then, they have become one of the worlds finest manufacturers of premium cigars, with the Serie D No.4 being one of their most popular lines.  The Partagas Serie D No.4 Cuban is a hand-rolled gem that comes in a robusto size.  It is not only one of the best selling Partagas cigars, but also one of the best selling Cuban cigars in the world.  It uses finely aged tobacco from the Vuelta Abajo region of Cuba.  It is a flavorful, medium to full bodied cigar with a wonderfully complex profile.  It includes delicious notes of spice, wood, cocoa, and cedar.

One of the things to learn from this Partagas Serie D No.4 review is that, among Cuban cigar smokers, this Partagas cigar is one of the most sought after. It is considered one of the finest Cuban cigars in a robusto size, along with the Cuban Cohiba robusto.  If you are unable to travel the world and go to a Cuban cigar store, there are plenty of fantastic options available in the US that are comparable in both size and profile. The My Father No.1 robusto is a similar size and has a comparable blend, with notes of pepper, nuts, wood, and cedar as well as a subtle cocoa hint as well.
