IPCPR – Day 3

July 28, 2016

I am so exhausted, but in the best way possible.  For 3 days I have been smoking some of the worlds best cigars and talking with some of the best minds in the industry.  At night, I get to go out and unwind and take in the full Las Vegas experience.  Last night after eating one of the best steaks of my life, the team and I hung out with General cigar where I got to smoke the coveted Partagas 150.  You cant even imagine what a thrill that was, especially paired with some of the finest bourbon I’ve ever tasted.  Today was another long yet intriguing day filled with some more awesome smokes.

You wont find a better combination of humor and knowledge than Erik Espinosa.  He is one of my favorite guys in the business for his relaxed demeanor and his mastery of tobacco.  He introduced me to his new Alpha Dog line, the blend of which was chosen for him by some of the countries best cigar bloggers.  We then sat down and got to light up one of my favorites, the Laranja.  When you see that interview on YouTube, your going to cry laughing.

I then took a walk to the General cigar booth and got a glimpse of their many releases. Among them were a brand new Cohiba with a fantastic flavor profile and a shiny new wood box.  I then lit up the new La Gloria Cubana and was blown away.  Michael Gianni has taken his beloved Serie R Esteli line and released it with a delicious Connecticut Maduro wrapper.  There are a lot more released from them then I will go into more detail later on.

MY last stop of the day was at Kristoff, which if you watch my weekly round up, you will know is a personal favorite. I talked with Jarrid, one of their very knowledgeable reps, and we both lit up one of the strongest and most flavorful smokes I’ve had in recent memory.  Its called the Pissedoff Kristoff and it is phenomenal.  You will be able to find this along with many other delicious cigars from Kristoff on our website so make sure to check them out.

My friends I now have to put on pants and get ready for dinner with Drew Estate.  I bid you adieu for now, but keep watching and liking us on Facebook, Instagram and YouTube.
