Montecristo White Series
The Montecristo doesn’t need much explaining as to why it’s a brand that’s worth smoking over and over, especially when it comes to the Montecristo White Series. Between its unbeatable flavor profile and its flawless construction, the Montecristo White Series Toro is a cigar worth smoking more than once.
Manufactured at the Tabacalera de Garcia factory, the Montecristo White Series is blended by the legendary Grupo de Maestros who’s worked on other famous products from Altadis USA. Cloaked in an Ecuadorian Connecticut Shade wrapper, with a binder from Nicaragua, and filler tobaccos from the Dominican Republic and Nicaragua, the White Series is a medium-bodied smoke that has delicious flavor notes that flow throughout the smoke.
With a sweet and creamy taste, you’ll find in the first third, the White Series Toro has a strong finish with honey, ginger, and ground pepper on the backend of the smoke. Available in a pack of 10, the Montecristo is a trustworthy smoke that you can recommend a friend to have whenever, or for yourself to enjoy morning, noon, and night.
Padron 1964 Anniversary Series
The main reason we love enjoying the Padron 1964 Anniversary Series over and over again is due to the top of the line, flawless construction this smoke provides. Created to celebrate thirty years of pure luxury, the Padron 1964 in the Corona size is a box-pressed beauty that has a perfect balance of vintage tobaccos that give off a nuance of delicious flavor notes.
This 6 x 42 medium-bodied, Nicaraguan puro smoke features some enjoyable flavor notes such as espresso, earth, chocolate, with a delicious nutty and toasty finish. Most people save the 1964 Anniversary Series for a special occasion, however, this is one cigar that could be lit up and enjoyed after a hearty dinner or poolside on a Wednesday afternoon.
Arturo Fuente 8-5-8
If you’ve ever watched a video from us or heard us talk on our podcast, you know we are huge fans of Arturo Fuente cigars. Some cigars under the Fuente profile we can have anytime ranged from the Hemingway to the Opus X (when we can get our hands on one). Yet, the one Fuente we cannot get enough of is the Arturo Fuente 8-5-8. Arturo Fuente is one of the most popular cigars in the world and it’s all thanks to Carlos Fuente Sr. and Carlos Fuente Jr. The 8-5-8 is a staple for Arturo Fuente fans.
Cloaked in a rare African Cameroon wrapper that is a staple for most cigars under the Fuente brand, the 8-5-8 have binder and filler tobaccos that hail from the Dominican Republic. This medium-bodied 6 x 47 smoke has delicious flavor notes of nuts, cedar, spice, and hints of cocoa. The Fuente family has been manufacturing cigars for four decades, so you know each cigar under the Fuente brand is marked with a loving touch. If that’s not the final reason to want to enjoy an Arturo Fuente whenever, wherever, then I’m not sure how else to convince you!
Oliva Serie V Melanio
Awarded high ratings in various cigar publications after its introduction to the cigar world in 2012, the Oliva Serie V Melanio should already have a spot in your humidor, and if it doesn’t then it better be after today. The gorgeous follow-up to the Oliva Serie V, the Melanio does the original smoke justice, and then some. With beautiful tobaccos used from the Jalapa Valley and Condega, the Serie V Melanio is more than just its delectable flavors and aroma.
Cloaked in an Ecuadorian Habano wrapper, the Serie V Melanio in the Robusto size has binder tobaccos that hail from Nicaragua, and Jalapa Valley Ligero tobaccos that make up the filler. This full-bodied 5 x 52 smoke has complex flavor notes of wood, leather, coffee, and toast. However, that lingering taste of sweet caramel you taste on the backend adds a whole other dimension to this award-winning smoke. The Oliva Serie V Melanio is sure to exceed expectations with each and every puff you take.
Four Kicks Maduro
You knew we couldn’t have a list of cigars that we could smoke day in and day out and not have a gem from Crowned Heads. Blended by Jon Huber and Ernesto Carrillo at the Tabacalera La Alianza factory in the Dominican Republic, the Four Kicks Maduro is the perfect combination of well-aged tobaccos that give the Four Kicks Maduro that medium to full-bodied flavor profile we know and love.
Cloaked in a Connecticut Habano wrapper, with a binder and filler tobaccos that hail from Nicaragua, the Four Kicks Maduro blast off with rich, mocha notes, that transition smoothly to other delicious notes such as chocolate, cedar, earth, and black pepper. Oozing with complex flavor notes throughout the smoke, the Four Kicks is considered a vintage smoke that we enjoy having a few times each and every year.
