One of the most intriguing parts of the cigar business is finding out what part of the world the tobacco that makes up the wrapper, binder, and filler hail from. Nicaraguan puros are very popular, as well as cigars with tobacco from Cameroon and Honduras.

However, some of my favorite cigars I’ve had over the last few years have tobacco that comes from the soil within the United States.

For this week’s Top 5 list, we compiled a handful of cigars that feature tobacco from the United State of America. By doing a list like this, just goes to show the common cigar smoker that if you have the proper elements, you can make a delicious cigar anywhere in the world.

This land is home to the infamous Florida Sun Grown farm Drew Estate owns. Growing prized tobaccos from hybrid seeds in Florida’s bright sun and fertile soil has made for an amazing smoke.

Cloaked in a Connecticut Shade wrapper, the FSG 20 Acre Farm also is comprised of a Honduran Habano binder, and Nicaraguan long-filler tobaccos. With the signature scrumptious flavor notes almost all Drew Estate cigars provide, you’ll detect an abundance of oak, cedar, white pepper, and earth in all three pahses of the smoke.
