The Sobremesa Brulee is one of the newest cigars from legendary blender Steve Saka. It was considered one of the most anticipated brands to be released during the 2019 IPCPR Tradeshow and now it has finally reached our warehouse. The cigar acts as a sequel to the first Dunbarton launch, the original Sobremesa, however, its blend and profile are incredibly different.
The Sobremesa Brulee is the first Dunbarton cigar to use a Connecticut Shade wrapper. Where many manufacturers today claim that their cigar is “not your fathers Connecticut” Steve in typical Steve fashion came right out and said this is 100% your typical Connecticut cigar. It is a super mellow and creamy cigar for either the new cigar smoker or someone who just prefers a smooth mellow cigar.
While he may claim this is your typical Connecticut cigar, being that it is a Dunbarton it is almost beyond compare. The construction is nearly perfect, with nice white ash with very little flaking. The cigar requires almost no maintenance during the smoke and produces a ton of smooth flavor notes including creamy coffee, leather, and nuts. Due to its more mellow profile, this is a great entry cigar for a new smoker or someone who wants to try out a Dunbarton without having something too intense. The Dunbarton Sobremesa Brulee is now available right here at JR Cigars.
