Hoyo La Amistad Silver Cigars

September 17, 2019

Released at the 2017 IPCPR Trade Show, the Hoyo La Amistad Silver cigars are another top-shelf collaboration between  General Cigar and world-famous master-blender AJ Fernandez. The Amistad Silver introduces a full-bodied blend that was positioned to be a notch bolder than the original medium to full strength  Hoyo La Amistad cigars.

The name La Amistad is Spanish for friendship, which holds a special meaning for AJ who grew up very near to the Hoyo de Monterrey farm in Cuba and always had a special love for the brand.

This all Cuban-seed blend consists of an  Ecuador Habano wrapper, and Nicaraguan Habano binder and long filler tobaccos. The Hoyo La Amistad Silver is available in a 5 x 50 Robusto, 6.88 x 48 Churchill, and a 5.5 x 52 Pancho. Each size is packaged in both  20-count boxes, and affordable, economical 10-packs.

As mentioned, Hoyo La Amistad Silver cigars are bold, full-bodied gems that rival the quality and taste of those great old pre-embargo Cuban’s of yesteryear. After toasting and lighting this expertly crafted handmade premium cigar, you’ll be greeted with hearty, yet exceptionally smooth tasting notes of peppery spice, earth, espresso, caramel, leather, and almonds.

Hoyo La Amistad Silver cigars deliver a tantalizing smoking experience that’s geared towards the well-seasoned smoker. However,  its creamy taste on the palate, courtesy of its deeply aged tobaccos, makes it a welcoming smoke for enthusiasts that feel they are ready to move up in strength.

Be sure to grab a 20-count box, or 10-pack of your favorite size, and experience a splendid “Cubaneque” creation from the highly skilled artisans at General Cigar and  AJ Fernandez.
