Las Calaveras 2021 Cigar Review

October 11, 2021

Since 2014, this limited-edition cigar has made waves throughout the industry. Las Calaveras cigars are a collaboration between Crowned Heads and My Father Cigars. The style and logo on each box represent the “Day of the Dead”, which is the theme for this cigar line.

The cigar is meant to pay respect to the ones we’ve lost throughout the year. We couldn’t get enough of last year’s Las Calaveras, in which Jon Huber of Crowned Heads said multiple times it was dedicated to the late, great Kobe Bryant.

This year, there haven’t been any comments on who it may be dedicated to, but the yellow and red color scheme on the band and box is really eye-catching and draws the right amount of attention from us consumers.

Rolled at the My Father Factory, the Las Calaveras is cloaked in an Ecuadorian Sumatra wrapper all while having Nicaraguan tobaccos that make up the binder and filler. Some flavor notes you’ll detect while smoking this gem are leather, earth, spice, and espresso on the backend.

This year, Crowned Heads released three different vitolas under the Las Calaveras 2021 line. A 6 x 48, 5 x 50, and a 5.75 x 54 smoke that all come in a box of 24. The MSRP for a single Las Calaveras ranges from $9.75 to $11.50, which is right in the sweet spot for a cost of a smoke.

If you stop by JR Cigars today, you can get the new, tasty product that is the Las Calaveras 2021 Limited Edition cigar today!
