Dunbarton Tobacco & Trust Mi Querida Triqui Traca
Today we are reviewing one of those cigars that will put some pep in your step. This firecracker of a cigar we are talking about today is none other than the Mi Querida Triqui Traca from Dunbarton Tobacco and Trust. Triqui Traca is a Nicaraguan phrase for “Firework”. This is a similar blend to the original Mi Querida, but Steve Saka said the Triqui Traca is more of a “high octane” version, hence the “firework” moniker.
Triqui Traca cigars feature a Connecticut Broadleaf Maduro wrapper, a Nicaraguan binder, and Nicaraguan & Dominican Ligero long-filler tobaccos. the boldest Dunbarton Tobacco Company blend to date, these explosive cigars unleash uber-full-bodied flavors of red pepper, espresso, oak, chocolate, cinnamon, and sweet cream. However, don’t confuse strong with palatable, because expert blending and Saka’s use of the finest deeply aged tobaccos make for a wonderfully balanced and well-refined smoking experience.
