Crowned Heads CHC Serie E

This past September, Jon Huber of Crowned Heads released a sequel to the 2018 cigar line Crowned Heads CHC Court Reserve. Except for this time, the CHC line has a spin on it. In typical Jon Huber/Crowned Heads fashion, there are always musical ties to his cigar lines. From Black Dog representing Led Zeppelin, or Jericho Hill paying homage to Johnny Cash, the new CHC Serie E is paying homage to a legendary band from the 80s.

If the design on the new CHC Serie E box is giving you flashbacks to Van Halen’s “Eruption”, then you have an eye for the finer things. The concept behind the CHC Serie E and Eruption correlation was that Jon wanted the smoking experience of the Serie E to be similar to listening to Eddie Van Halen’s masterpiece on their self-titled album in 1978.

This delicious gem from Tabacalera Pichardo and Jon Huber has Nicaraguan tobaccos that make up the binder and filler, all while being cloaked by a gorgeous-looking Ecuadorian Habano Oscuro wrapper. Some delicious flavor notes you may detect while smoking this gem are fresh cut grass, cocoa, white pepper, and sweet spice such as cinnamon on the backend.

Available in a 6.12 x 48 “Hermoso No. 2”, a 5.50 x 50 “5150”, a 4.38 x 52 “Petite Edmundo”, and a 6.50 x 54 “Sublime”, the Serie E comes in a box of 20 that displays the iconic white and black lines over a red background on the interior, which is the same design used on Eddie’s guitar.

With an MSRP of $8.00-$11.00 per cigar, you’re looking at an average price of $180.00-$220.00 for a box of 20 that will last you quite a long time. If you visit your local brick and mortar or decide to stop by JR Cigars online, make sure to have a peek at the Crowned Heads CHC Serie E  in case you’d like to add this rockin’ cigar to your college today.
