Today we’re reviewing the new cigar from Christian Eiroa that landed on the #5 spot on Cigar Dojo’s Top Cigars of 2021. The CLE Signature THT-EKE 03/17 is a mouthful both with the name and the smoke itself. Announced in March of 2021 by the Eiroa family, the CLE Signature would be a TAA release later in the year then released globally sometime in August of 2021.

Christian Eiroa, the owner of CLE Cigars, learned all he needed to about growing and manufacturing tobacco from his father Julio Eiroa. A titian in the industry of every sense of the word, Julio owns JRE Tobacco farm where he produces dozens of cigars for Aladino, Rancho Luna, Baccarat, Camacho with his son Justo. Christian wanted to branch out and conquer the industry on his own. With Eiroa Cigars maintaining credibility and CLE on the rise, Julio is nothing short of amazed by what his son has been able to accomplish.

Now let’s get into the cigar, shall we? Although the tobaccos featured in the binder and filler are “undisclosed”, Christian does plan on revealing what he’s used in due time. One feature of the cigar we are sure of is the unique “Cameroon de Jamastran” that is cloaked over this gorgeous stick.

Manufactured in Honduras at the CLE Factory, Christian’s goal to make a medium-bodied premium smoke that can be enjoyed by all was accomplished! Some flavor notes you may detect while smoking this gem are baked bread, leather, cinnamon, and earthy tones in the final two-thirds.
