Weekly Cigar Roundup: Sour Apple

October 1, 2019

On this episode of weekly cigar roundup, Nick talks about the cigars he smoked last week.  On Monday, he lit up Cornelius & Anthony The Gent.  This medium-bodied smoke uses a Pennslyvania USA binder and filler tobaccos from Nicaragua and Honduras.  It is wrapped in a beautiful Ecuadorian Rosado wrapper.  This is a complex smoke with great flavors.  On Tuesday, Nick smoked JR’s very own Boneshaker.  This is a powerhouse of a cigar with great flavor.  Using a Connecticut broadleaf wrapper and Nicaraguan tobaccos for the binder and filler this full-strength cigar is not one to have on an empty stomach.  Nick smoked the unique sized Liga Privada No 9 flying pig.  This is the same blend as the Liga Privada but in a short fat pigtail finished size cigar.  On Thursday, Nick smoked the My Father The Judge.  From the team of Jose & Jaime Garcia, this medium to full body cigar has complex flavors of wood, nut, chocolate, and spice.  After work on Friday, Nick broke out the Leaf by Esteban.  A collaboration between Island Jim and Oscar Valladares, this cigar is blended by Esteban Disla of RoMa Craft. On Saturday, Nick smoked AJ Fernandez’s Ramon Allones.  Ramon Allones was a General brand that AJ decided to take over to make it into one of his own core lines.  On Sunday Funday, Nick smoked a top 25 hit the Plasencia Alma Fuerte.  A full-bodied Nicaraguan puro it’s not a cigar to mess with and a cigar for you not to miss out on.  Go check out the video below to see Anthony and Nick’s shenanigans and when you are done go to JRCIGARS for all your cigar needs.
