Handcrafted in Nicaragua at the legendary La Gran Fabrica Drew Estate, NightShade uses aged filler tobaccos from both Nicaragua and the Dominican Republic, followed by a rich Indonesian binder and a stunning Connecticut Habano wrapper.

This unique blend results in a rich and flavorful medium-full bodied smoke. Each puff delivers notes of dark fruit, coffee, chocolate, and espresso with a dash of black pepper and leather. The construction is remarkable, with a solid white ash and a nice even burn the entire way through.

The cigar takes its name from the plant family Solanaceae, commonly known as nightshades, which include the tobacco plant.

According to Drew Estate Founder and President Jonathan Drew, the true beauty of this exclusive NightShade blend lies in its diverse, multi-country origins.

“This blend unites majestic tobaccos from Nicaragua, the Dominican Republic, and Indonesia,” Drew said, “which we then painstakingly wrap under a Habano seed wrapper-leaf grown in the Connecticut River Valley.  This results in dark earthy espresso meeting the blackest of peppers in some kind of aged-goodness dance,” he said.
