Acid cigars are anything but boring. From the unique artwork of Scott Chester, that adorns every box-- to the complex flavors of each cigar. They have raised the bar for flavored cigars and are continuing to do so today. Actually, ACID cigars are not flavored, they are “infused”. The aged Nicaraguan Cuban-seed long filler tobaccos are cured for months in what Drew Estate calls "cuartos aromaticos" (aroma rooms) that are lined with over 150 essential oils, natural botanicals, herbs, and spices to infuse the tobacco with both flavor and aroma.
When you’re in the mood for a truly unique smoke, just light one of these up—you won’t be disappointed. Each of the many sizes has its own distinct flavor and aroma profile. The quality wrapper, binder and long filler leaves used in these cigars, plus the time consuming infusion process-- make this a cigar you’ll want to take your time smoking, so you can savor each and every mouthful of flavorful aromatic smoke. And with the nice burn and draw there’s plenty of smoke to be enjoyed, not only by you, but also those around you.
ACID Krush Classic line of little cigars are perfect for when you don’t have time for a full size ACID cigar, but still want all the flavor. They’re handmade, long-filler 4 x 32 versions of several full-size ACID blends that are conveniently packed in tins of 10. Available in four different infusions and wrappers, Blue Connecticut, Gold Sumatra, Morado Maduro & Red Cameroon. Just light up and enjoy!
ACID COLD FUSION TEA
From the ACID Gold line of infused cigars, the Cold Infusion Tea is meticulously made with Drew Estate's secret process and features the company's typical floral notes, plus a plethora of indescribable yet highly flavorful botanicals. Honestly, I am not a big fan of infused cigars but being a hookah and e-cig guy, I thought this blend would most suit my exotic palate.
The scent isn't as strong as the ACID Blue's (which reminds me of Old Spice) but I found this particular aroma much more understated and far more enticing. The construction was flawless; this cigar provides a very smooth draw. The taste is unique (even for this brand) and my palate was bombarded by fruity flavors and strong notes of green tea. Unlike other ACID cigars, this smoke was much more lightly infused; the exotic flavors never overpowered the quality tobacco, which created a perfectly balanced smoking experience.
If you are a newbie in infused-cigar category and want to take the plunge, then this is the perfect introductory smoke. Not too sweet, not too cloying and just the right amount of flavor. If you are an avid ACID fan, this one's a nice variation. But if you're a smoker who's usually put off by heavy-scented, powerful blends, this one is worth a try before you totally eliminate this brand from your rotation.
In conclusion, I would not smoke this cigar on a steady basis but it is definitely a nice change of pace when I'm craving something unique and don't feel like dragging out my humongous hookah.
