There are few cigar brands as popular as the Rocky Patel Vintage Series. Since their inception, they have been the source of many 90+ ratings and have become a staple in humidors all over the country. His reputation is built on an uncompromising commitment to quality, ensuring that every cigar he makes is consistent in flavor, with an even burn and perfect draw. One of the secrets to Rocky's success is his superb blending skills, where he spends years balancing each leaf to make the perfect smoke.
Rocky Patel Vintage 1999 Connecticut provides a rare look into the lighter bodied blending done by Rocky.
The vintage '99 uses a beautiful 7-year-old Connecticut leaf to encase his award-winning mixture of 8-year-old Dominican and Nicaraguan long-leaf ligeros. The combination produces an exquisitely smooth mild to medium bodied cigar that's slightly spicy with hints of earth and cedar. As if that weren't enough, each cigar is aged 120 days after being rolled. This is definitely another finger burner in his vintage series!
