Though Macanudo Vintage cigars have been around since the 1970s, this is the first-ever maduro worthy of the Macanudo Vintage designation. The blend of aged Brazilian Mata Fina, Nicaraguan ligero, and two types of Piloto Cubano long-filler tobaccos from the Dominican Republic was kept cloistered until General Cigar deemed it nothing short of extraordinary. With a 13-year-old dark Connecticut broadleaf wrapper that started being fermented and processed in 2003, and a spicy binder from the Plasencia farm in Talanga, Honduras, this cigar’s sweet, savory, intense flavors put a new twist on the classic traits for which this flagship brand is known.
