H. UPMANN BANKERS SERIES
WRAPPER: Ecuador Connecticut BINDER: Nicaragua FILLER: Dominican Republic/Nicaragua
STRENGTH: Medium
The H. Upmann brand dates back to 1844, when a German banker named Herman Upmann began using specially imprinted boxes of cigars as gifts for his banking firm. That imprint was a reproduction of the original shares in the H. Upmann Bank, and the Bankers Series pays tribute to those cigars.
Handcrafted at Altadis USA’s Tabacalera de Garcia factory, these fine smokes are blended with aged long-filler tobaccos from the Dominican Republic and Nicaragua accompanied by a flavorful Nicaraguan binder and an attractive Ecuador Connecticut wrapper. The result is a cigar with rich, smooth, nutty flavors, and the flawless construction and consistency that have been the trademark of this brand for years. Each cigar is sealed in a cedar-lined aluminum tube and packed in a beautiful humidor-quality box, both of which are decorated with an illustration of an H. Upmann bank certificate—the presentation alone is worth the price.

Filled with cigars crafted from well-aged, flavorful multination tobaccos inside a great-looking Ecuador Connecticut wrapper leaf, this uniquely decorated packaging features a replication of an H. Upmann bank certificate from the 1800s. Great cigars and a nice homage to the early days of a renowned brand.
